Went on a Sunday afternoon and they were surprisingly busy. The restaurant wasn't prepared for so many customers so it took quite some time for our food to come out. We were kinda upset about waiting so long (we were hangry, lol) but once we started eating we forgave the them because the food was very good. I would go again as long as I'm not in a hurry.

St Catharines has one of the most underrated food scenes in the province and this restaurant is definitive of the quality of food you can get in the city. The gamjatang is flavorful and tender and the kimchi fried rice is spicy with a perfect texture. The service felt like I was sitting down in the owners home and they were serving me their signature dishes. The food here hits the spot!

The food and service were great! The restaurant was clean with an efficient kiosk order system on each table. Foods were served very fast and tasty! I would definitely come back if I visit St. Catherine’s and crave Korean food.
We had Pork belly, Galbi, spicy pork, egg soup, and kimchi soon tofu soup. All excellent; pork belly was amazing with smoky flavour!!!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and only 2 other customers in the restaurant. Server paid good attention to customers. Tables and floors clean. Tried the hot stone beef bibimbap and it came with lots of spicy side dishes.

Soul Korean stands out as the best Korean restaurant in town, offering an inviting atmosphere complemented by friendly staff who genuinely enhance the dining experience. Upon entering, you're greeted with a warm ambiance that sets the stage for an enjoyable meal.

One of the most impressive features is the built-in iPad menu at each table, which simplifies the ordering process. This technology allows for a seamless experience; you can browse the extensive menu at your own pace, view mouthwatering images of each dish, and even customize your order with just a few taps. This modern approach not only streamlines service but also caters to diners who appreciate convenience.

The food itself is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is crafted with authentic ingredients that burst with flavor. From the rich, savory bulgogi to the refreshing kimchi, every bite transports you to Korea. The attention to detail in presentation and taste reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality.

Moreover, the availability of free parking is a significant perk, making it easy for you to visit without the hassle of searching for a spot. This convenience, combined with the restaurant’s stellar offerings, ensures that a visit to Soul Korean is not just a meal, but a delightful experience. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, you’ll leave with a satisfied palate and a desire to return.

Be careful before you pay your bills. We were a group of 5, (3 adults and 2 toddlers) They automatically add a 15% tip and label it on the receipt as a surcharge. Like it was part of your order. They then put tax on top of it. Whats worst, once the cashier entered it on the debit machine, its gonna ask you for a tip again. The server/cashier will not tell you that the tip was already added. So be careful!!!it is very easy to miss because of how they put it on your receipt. My sister in law have the same experience. I told her to write a review here to make people aware.

I have the receipt, im not sure how to upload it.

Reply to’ Seoul - I just want you to correct how you charge your costumers. First of all, tip is not subjected to HST. If tips are to be added automatically, make sure costumers are aware. Also pls, when tips is already added on the receipt, dont ask for tips again through the debit. Skip it! Its misleading. Ive been to this restaurant few times. I dont usually look at the receipts, i just pay and press 15% on tips. Thinking back, i wonder if i had double tip you guys without knowing. Anyway, lesson learned. Always check the bill!

Be careful about giving tips on this restaurant. They already add tips 15% and they don’t letting you know. Bad business practices very wise. It would be nice if they can be honest about tips. They want double tips. 12 people here all together. We on separate table not together. They add automatically 15% tips. Tips hunger. We will not coming back.

This wasn't recent but my experience here was very forgettable. Paid $20 for spare ribs soup which was just water, 2 small pieces of meat and 2 bones. No flavour. The soup was literally just brown water (not broth). The tables were left uncleaned for a long time. Server just kept walking past them. Don't understand that high ratings at all.
