About de la terre bakery

de la terre bakery is a locally owned spot known for its delicious bread baked in-house. The warm focaccia with real butter is a must-try, perfect for a wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, with a fun kids' corner that adds a nice touch, making it suitable for families. Besides bread, they offer delicious pastries and various drink options, including a popular iced vanilla latte that many customers enjoy both in-store and for take-out. The breakfast croissant sandwich is also highly recommended, though the prices are a bit higher, but the quality justifies it. The staff are always warm, friendly, and quick to serve, even when busy, and they keep the place clean and tidy. Visitors can enjoy free Wi-Fi and often come here to work or relax. The bakery is very wheelchair accessible, with no steps at the entrance and an accessible bathroom with an automatic door. Kids are welcome with high-chairs and a small play space for children to enjoy while dining.

The bakery is known for its delicious sourdough bread, with the Honey Butter Sourdough being a customer favorite. The croissant dough cinnamon roll has been compared to a Kouign Amann French pastry, with a similar flavor and taste. Despite the popularity of the food, some customers have expressed concerns about the service, with long lines and slow service at the new location. However, the bakery remains a popular spot in St. Catharines for its great food and cozy atmosphere.

Fantastic Viennoisery, great coffees.
If I may be bold to suggest the name change on what is called “chocolate croissant” to “Pain au Chocolat” as the name of the store is French. The product should be named accordingly.

A cute spot to get bread or sit and have a drink and baked good. I like their round windows and that they have cushions you can place on their seats

Fantastic baked goods and coffee/drink options.

New location here is a bit tighter for spacing and the prices tend to be on the higher side.
