The portions have shrunk so much that now, the meat actually rivals the bun. They no longer provide butter for the bun.Knives forks napkins in the takeout. I think it's time to move on from this canadian institution.

The server was an accident waiting to happen and it did. Right from the get go there was a problem. I sat down and was looking at the menu when the server came up pushed my Menu up to see if I had utensils underneath the menu, I did not. After receiving our food my step mother discovered a big hair in her food by chewing on it. When we told the server he got huffy and start muttering under his breathe and stormed off to bring a new meal in a take out bag to replace it.
We finished our meals he came back to check on us. I asked for two take out containers, if they do anything for birthday, and about our pies that come with our promo meals, he again stormed off in huff like I was taking his pie away from him. We came from NS to celebrate our 7 year old daughters birthday witj family, we wanted a nice dinner out but could have got better food and service at McDonald's. When he brought the dessert he hit my step mother in the head with something so hard her eyes were watering and gave her a headache.
He displayed poor attitude throughout our interactions including while paying. When he brought the bill it had the spring rolls that we ordered for our appetizers. We told him when order it, CAA membership makes it complimentary. So he stormed off again to change the bill. "Everything good now?" As he hand me the bill, it was not as he took it off the bill but it was still on the debit machine. We had to wait another 20 mins before he came back to fix his mistake. When he took the machine to fix it my card was still in the machine, he took it out and threw it down on the table. He handed the machine back to me to process payment, needless to say he got 0.00 for a tip.

Swiss chalet is always a value packed meal not a super high-end restaurant but just good value reasonably priced. We went there and had the Thanksgiving dinner with the pumpkin pie very good as we had to do the states for Thanksgiving.

The Swiss Chalet on Geneva street , St. Catharines has turned into a filthy atmosphere that took our appetite away and mentioned it to the manager and was offered two free meals ... No thank you . Will never go back . Went from a nice restaurant to a filthy dive . Can't imagine what their kitchen looks like.

Today for the excitement of swiss chalets roast beef being back I decided to meet My mom at Swiss Chalet. My mom was already seated, I walked in washed my hands. My husband put down the carseat onto the floor and to our horror 2 big cochroaches scrambled. My husband immediately picked the car seat back up put it on top of the table and expressed he had just seen cochroaches scatter. My mom horrified got up to look when she realized there was also a cochroach on the bench seat right next to her. I've nvr run out of a restaurant so fast in my life and I will never be back. Absolutely disgusting!! My mom litt threw her purse in the garbage and purchased a new one as nobody wants to bring those home!

Placed order on line for delivery like we have many times before. Food arrived much faster than expected but there was a mix up on the order. When I called the restaurant, not only were they quick to make it right, they remade the entire order and sent the whole thing out to us again. Nice job guys! You went above and beyond today! We'll definitely be ordering from here again.

I ordered the basic just a chicken sandwich and chicken soup. I’m never eating from there again. The reason being is because an hour after eating my food I got severely sick and I was puking all night long. I believe it was the soup… There was tangy taste to it.. I learnt my lesson.. Never again am I eating there…

Quality seems to have gone down with this Swiss chalet, was very disappointed. I was ripped off with the amount of sweet potato fries I received with my order. My family member received a bunch of very crunchy bad French fries as well. The chicken and ribs tasted fine but was quite disappointing the quality and quantity as well.
