Visited as a part of the Discovery Pass. They poured both the 2021 Estate Riesling and Gamay. We were fans of the Riesling and of the excellent and friendly customer service. The food pairing was a ground chicken sandwich on a brioche slider roll with BBQ sauce that was tasty. We appreciated the hospitality and the vibes were cozy.
Amazing wines and great staff!
A small, quality-focused winery in the Creek Shores appellation , Wending Home is worth knowing about. Winemaker Ron Giesbrecht brings decades of Niagara experience , and it shows in wines that are thoughtful without being fussy.
Great boutique winery with well balanced wines and great hospitality!
We loved their red wines, and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We went for a tasting and will definitely be back!

Wending Home chooses to run their very loud bird cannons from 7AM to 8pm every day ,almost 1000 shotgun blasts per day ,while other surrounding grape farmers rarely use theirs. Wending home refuses to monitor the bird situation and disturbs their many neighbors, some shift workers ,we are constantly being woken... buy wine at a winery that respects their neighbors. Wending Home is the only farmer that blasts the cannons all day long. September 27 just woke us up as usual 720 am i have talked to the owner several times and also the manager he just laughed.....unbelievable...THEY ARE THE ONLY GRAPE FARMER THAT BLASTS THEIR CANNONS ALL DAY LONG ...PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Fabulous wines and great people. A small up and comer now (with a very experienced winemaker) but one to watch. Get there so you can say I knew them when!

Great wines, wonderful staff! Ron Giesbrecht the winemaker/co-owner crafts fantastic wine and is such a pleasure to talk with. We visit as often as we can and order their wines online when we can't.
A hidden gem!
Really lovely wines with great hospitality. We visited in January and it’s such a warm and cozy space with beautiful artwork all the walls. We’ll absolutely be back and can’t wait to continue to explore their wines!
