A&W in general has become way too expensive for what it is.
Needed a quick lunch along the way to where I was headed today so I went to their drive-through in Stittsville. At the pickup window I was told I couldn’t spend my $100 bill there either. If it’s Canadian currency they should accept it. Period.
I went over to Mary Brown’s chicken and they accepted $100 bill without question.

This is our favorite A&W location, and we come regularly on weekends for lunch. The ladies throwing the shift are friendly, and they always have an extra smile for my daughter. Location is reasonably clean, but the washrooms could see some improvements. We haven't been disappointed once with the food.

took 10 minutes for one burger and fry. there was nobody else there either, all the drinks in the fountain are warm and don’t even dispense ice. the person taking my order forgot to remove what i wanted removed despite hearing it and putting it into the system and when i said they forgot to they took it back and took the burger back to take everything off and rebuild it in a poor manor. all the fries likely stay in the baskets all day becuase they couldn’t be more stale. don’t recommend

Staff was overcompensating With an overly friendly demeanor, since they did not have the necessary items that they were charging for such as a full burger offering Two patties that were smaller, Comparable in weight never less Charging a certain price for a certain item and not delivering that item. I had personally asked them since they were not offering the same item that they had just charged me for To reach a value of my satisfaction. Failing to do so attached is a picture of the burger and it’s quality that they make this is supposed to be a Mozza burger.

Went thru the drive thru today and ordered three burgers, three fries and three root beers. Was third car in line and the service was quite fast. Turns out that they gave us the wrong order. When we got home it was two burgers (not what we ordered) a hot dog, one order of fries and rings. The drinks were right. So 4/9 items right…. I suspect that they gave us the order for the car ahead of us… so I think many upset people tonight. I called and asked for a full refund. Will visit tomorrow to get that transaction reversed (why I gave them 2 stars, not one). We don’t eat out a lot and this was maybe the second time at A&W in 6 months. Last time, they gave us one wrong burger. Definitely will not visit this A&W again.
