Hello,
One of the left side washroom’s has some issues. The toilet seat is wobbling and the sink has only hot water. Someone can scold easily.
Service was not that great and the food was not good. Ordered a salad and it had just shredded lettuce and did not come with everything as listed on the menu

when I was driving through the back of this establishment I happened to notice a tall, curly haired man. he appeared to be a kitchen worker, i saw him doing obscene activities….
doesn’t seem sanitary
Great food and service!
Cleanliness could have been better, which was surprising since we had an 11am reservation, so we were basically the first ones to get a table that day. Our chairs were covered in crumbs and the highchair that was brought to use was just gross, full of old food.
Cannot comment on atmosphere or food as we could not even be seated. 12:30pm, lunch prime time. After calling over what i assume was the manager or lead supervisor to inquire about getting a seat, we were informed that it would be a few minute wait as they only had 2 servers working one side, nobody on the other. Several minutes later I see him sipping a coffee chatting with a server. If you are under staffed, you step in and assist. We should have been seated and atleast a drink order taken. Both my party of 3 and a second part behind us walked out at the same time. What a shame, never been to this location, was choice of our guest to celebrate over lunch here and had to move on. Customers left standing at entrance not addressed till they call you over to be told to wait longer is terrible service.

The best lone star experience in Ottawa. The St.Laurent location has the best atmosphere but this location is new and beautiful! Good management as well!

Legal Review Submitted by a Concerned Patron
It is with considerable reluctance that I must publicly articulate my dissatisfaction with the profoundly discourteous and professionally deficient conduct of a female bartender currently employed at this establishment, whom I understand to be of Mexican origin. Her ongoing presence in a front-of-house capacity represents, in my view, not merely a lapse in judgment by management, but a sustained failure to comply with the fundamental legal and professional duties owed by service providers within the United Kingdom.
This individual consistently displays a posture of disengagement and dereliction. On several occasions, I have personally witnessed her seated idly at the bar, neither monitoring the premises with attentiveness nor responding promptly to patrons’ requests. Such inaction and indifference fall unequivocally below the standard required under Section 49 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which stipulates that services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Her conduct represents an ongoing breach of this statutory duty, giving rise to a legitimate expectation of redress for affected patrons.
Moreover, the bartender’s demeanour is pervasively condescending. Her tone is discourteous, her gestures brusque, and her overall comportment exudes a palpable disdain for the very individuals whose custom sustains the establishment. Under settled common law principles, the provision of services is governed by an implied term of mutual trust and confidence. The bartender’s conduct extinguishes that trust and renders the contractual foundation of the customer-provider relationship untenable.
There is also a credible basis for asserting that her conduct, when viewed through a legal lens, may give rise to negligent misrepresentation, as recognised in Hedley Byrne & Co Ltd v Heller & Partners Ltd [1964] AC 465. The mere visual presence of bar staff suggests a representation that guests will receive attentive and courteous service. Where this proves to be a misrepresentation, and where reliance on such representation leads to distress or wasted time, there exists an actionable tortious breach.
Further still, if it is ultimately established that this bartender disproportionately targets her discourtesy toward select patrons—whether consciously or by effect—her conduct may fall within the ambit of indirect discrimination, proscribed by Section 29 of the Equality Act 2010, and defined under Section 19 thereof. The obligation to treat all patrons with equal respect is not discretionary but legally mandated.
To summarise, her conduct constitutes the following legal violations and actionable concerns:
– Persistent breach of statutory duty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
– Breach of the implied contractual duty of mutual trust and confidence;
– Negligent misrepresentation by conduct;
– Potential indirect discrimination contrary to the Equality Act 2010.
Until such time as this individual is either dismissed or removed from all public-facing duties, I shall refrain from frequenting this establishment and shall discourage others from doing so. It is incumbent upon management to take immediate remedial action to avert further reputational and legal exposure.
This review places the establishment on constructive notice. Failure to take proportionate corrective action may justify escalation to relevant regulatory authorities, including Trading Standards and any relevant licensing bodies under whose jurisdiction this business operates.

Smash Burgers to die for! So far best I have tried, sorry Five guys. Proper size, tasty buns, all ingredients are spot on, nothing overpowers meat, juicy, delicious. Expensive but worth trying. Definitely will come back for more.

So I gave it another try. The margarita was the best. My burrito was mushy inside, it resembled something you bought in the frozen food aisle. Let's talk chicken! 🐔 It resembles little squares and honesty it could have been tofu. It had no chicken taste.
Like I said, the Margaritas were great.

Very disappointed with the service. We arrived at 1:00pm and were told it would be a 40 min wait due to not opening a side of the restaurant.
Meanwhile the restaurant was empty. Do not recommend going to this location.

Wasn’t dirty or anything but it was not a pleasant stay. Our server on the receipt said rusty 89. That server was hiding from us the entire time. There was another server who was helping us when we needed because we couldn’t find our server anywhere. That wasn’t the only issue. It took 40 minutes to get our food and when I got my Bacon Me Crazy smash burger it was warm at best and the fries were overcooked and cold at the same time. They brought me new fries. Just not impressed. Everything was cold and not even cooked. Service was not present. Not impressed. There’s tons of better places around. Also the honey garlic tastes like pure ginger not saying it’s terrible just putting it out there if you don’t like or do like ginger. The flavour was okay. Kind of weird in some parts. Maybe that’s just me. The prices were extremely high for what it was. Especially the drinks.
