I’m a regular customer and have enjoyed the Bombay Bowl several times in the past.
However, my last visit was disappointing. I came in close to closing time (and I completely understand the end-of-day rush, having worked in restaurants myself), but unfortunately, the quality just wasn’t there.
The rice was cold, they were out of baingan bharta and substituted tofu instead—which I was not informed about before ordering —but the portion of paneer sabji I received was barely a spoonful and seemed to be the last bit left.
While the staff member was very kind and I appreciated her attitude, I ended up paying nearly $20 for a meal that wasn’t satisfying and sadly ended up in the trash.
Just wanted to share this feedback in hopes that future late-evening experiences can be more consistent with the usual quality I’ve come to expect.

I used to appreciate the Uber Eats BOGO bowl deals, usually towards the end of the day. Today, I ordered a bowl under the “Buy 1 at 50% off” offer for pickup but it was disappointing — the bowl was less than half full, with barely any toppings or sauce, leaving it completely dry. The bowl was as light as a feather! I’ve attached a picture for reference. When I raised the issue with the staff, they only added some rice and a bit of dressing, which didn’t fix the problem. Very disappointing experience - feels like customers are being duped based on earlier positive experiences.
