I love the menu, specially the Eggplant, Fish dishes and veal options. Desserts are fab. Emanuel, the owner is around commanding the high quality of his really authentic Italian eatery. Plus, twice an year he takes a small group of his clients to a culinary tour of Sicily, his homeland, where one can learn special cooking with his family! And sample the best Sicily has to offer. A wonderful thing to do!

We have eaten here a few times but finally posting about it. Chef Manni really does provide good quality food and the Apollo dishes my wife and I had were great in addition to my daughter’s pasta dish. Exceptional. We did walk in and they accommodated us but we had to leave at a certain time so ideally we took advantage but the hostess was kind to let us know it was time to leave.

We eat here often for special occasions, I love their spaghetti & meatballs and their Stuffed Melanzana is crave-worthy!

This is a pleasant but busy restaurant with decent Italian cuisine. The service was good with friendly servers. The food was flavourful. It would have been nice to have the option of pizza, but this isn't a pizza place. The time slots are for 2.5 hours, after which they need to bring in the next guests for their booking times. We were politely asked to leave to accommodate them.I wouldn't mind returning for a meal, but I will eat faster next time.

Less than perfect customer service reduced it from 5. The food was very good. However, we confirmed a reservation for a specific table as my wife has special requirements. Unfortunately, they did not honour that specific reservation and have admitted it was a mistake on their part. I have since received a call from the owner. It seems their table reservations can be somewhat fluid depending on several factors. I hope they understand now why this was an important issue for one of their guests.

Warm cosy and busy - bode well for a good evening. I had the cannelloni- absolutely awful - worst I’ve had. Horrible meat filling, looked more like a pizza with all the cheap cheese on it and wasn’t very warm. Once was enough.

My husband and I have been looking for an amazing restaurant for quite some time now and this restaurant is exactly what we have been looking for. Great food, tasty and with generous portions. Amazing service right from the moment you sit down. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a wonderful night out.Parking: Plenty of parking without having to pay a fee.

What a gem of a place for anyone craving good Italian food. We had Poco Pazzo Fettucine along with kids Sphagetti& meatballs and both the dishes were amazing. The flavours are perfectly balanced and portion size is pretty generous. The service could be a tad faster but considering it was a friday night and rush hour, it was ok.Kid-friendliness: Have couple of kids menu options i.eFettucine Alfredo and Sphagetti with meatballs

I had originally made reservations for 4 on Sept 9 at 7:00pm. On the day of the reservation I received a call from the restaurant asking if I could change my reservation to 7:15pm. Not a problem. We arrived at 7:15 and were seated promptly. We had cocktails before dinner and appetizers as ordered. Thereafter we watched customers (even those who arrived after us) being served their dinners while we patiently waited. At around 8:30pm I called the waitress (Rose) over to let her know that the wait was becoming unreasonable. I let her know that in future she might want to be proactive to get in front of any issues and address them with the customer before the customer did. I also suggested that she might want to consider a complementary bottle of wine given we had finished the one we had ordered for dinner. It was in jest but with a little truth attached. She apologized and said our dinners would be arriving shortly. We didn't receive our orders till after 9:25pm over 2 hours after sitting down. No compensation was offered nor was any part of the meal credited as a conciliatory offer as a result of the completely unreasonable delay. I tipped reasonably because I felt that the servers were not responsible for the delays we experienced, but I was very disappointed with how the issue not addressed. We received our bill paid and left at 10:15pm.Our table discussion became focused on the long wait for our meal and took away from the celebration intended. Totally unacceptable for an established restaurant. I've said many times I'll take average food and great service over great food and terrible service. Well tonight I got the latter.

Look no farther. The food, the atmosphere, the service! Wow! Stopped in for a pre concert dinner. Started with fresh warm bread, had a couple of mains which were both served piping hot! So tasty mmmmmm.

The BEST Italian restaurant in Ottawa hands down! Why? Because the food is actually authentically delicious. And the generous portions wouldn't make your nonna feel embarrassed about the plating efforts resulting in making guests leaving hungry. I haven't seen chef Emmanuele in a while, but he and his family operated this place and their presence on-site made it feel like you were stepping into their heart and home on every visit. Give this place a try - you won't regret it. Actually, you might agree with me - there's so much more to this semi-crazy lil' eatery!

We had a lovely date night at the pocopazzo. I had the fettuccine poco pazzo and my husband had gemelli gorgonzola. While I found his pasta underwhelming, I did truly enjoyed mine! It was very creamy and the pasta was done just right. The portion sizes were HUGE. We only ordered the pasta with no appetizers and we barely finished our pasta dishes.
