Weird food combo choices. Octoberfest sausage instead of breakfast sausage with eggs. Menu didn't detail the choice either. Mediocre at best.

Visited the area for a family event and I Googled 'best breakfast in Stittsville' and the rentacar GPS brought me to The Village Cafe. Mr Google wasn't wrong! Great omlette w fresh fruit, the marble rye was on-point and the home fries has some sort of agreeable smoky flavour. Couple of coffee top-up with unobtrusive efficient & friendly service. Well done. Highly reccomend

I absolutely loved this restaurant when it first opened in stittsville. The quality and presentation were amazing, the added fresh fruit was a delight and the owners were fantastic. Today, I was super disappointed as my son got delivery. He wanted a side of tzatziki with his breakfast sandwich, which was $4, but I agreed as I figured we could use it for dinner. The order arrived. The sandwich was decent, the potatoes were few and full of burnt onions and the $4 tzatziki was a 2lbsp tiny cup. Complete rip off with that. I think this restaurant has gotten too big, too fast? It’s just not the same as when it first opened. A little disappointing
Good food but very, very poor service. Beware, they refuse to serve customers way before their advertised closing time, and only do takeout as it is easier. They close at 3, and at 2.20 they close their service. Not ok.

Very friendly and fast service, my husband had the fish and chips, batter was excellent, had the steak and eggs for breakfast, eggs was done to perfection but the flat iron steak was extremely overcooked so it was tough, everything else, good
