Came to this location as it had the best reviews out of all their locations in Hamilton. The food was okay, but nothing really special. I used to come to August 8 all the time pre-covid and back then, it was one of the best AYCE restaurants.Midway eating, a cockroach crawled up from under the dimsum steamer baskets onto our dish and that took my appetite away for the rest of the meal. I think I was just too shocked to know how to react at the moment. We ended up squashing the cockroach and we tucked it up in a tissue. The waiter came by and took it away immediately and didn’t address anything.I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The service was great for the first half of this dining experience and then food started coming really slow and waiters just weren’t coming to us.

We used to come here regularly, but then we noticed things were changing. The last few times we ordered takeout it was disgusting. Warm, falling apart, tasteless… and my daughter has gotten food poisoning twice from there in the last 3 months. I do not recommend this place.

Very unorganized. A lot of the stuff we ordered never came to the table and we had to remind our server a few times that several items hadn’t arrived. After we paid our bill the servers were still bringing out the food that we ordered at the beginning, we were done eating and turned the food away. It was a mess from the beginning till the end.

Honestly, the food was pretty disappointing. The rice was bland, most of the sushi didn’t taste much of anything, their shrimp dumplings kinda tasted like hot dogs ?, and both of my pops were completely flat even after bringing it to their attention. service WAS good. Super fast and absolutely lovely staff. I didn’t fully hate my experience I just had much much higher hopes.
