Not impressed with this location. I bought red maraschino cherries and discovered that they tasted like they had gone rancid. I went back a week later with the cherries and the receipt and kindly told her what happened. (I had bought green at the same time and they were good) She opened the bag and sniffed and said they were fine and that they change their stock all the time. I didn't want to make a scene so I just okay and left.

I do a lot of baking and Bulk Barn used to be my go-to store. I can’t buy my ingredients there any more, they are simply price gouging. I went there today because I needed milk chocolate chips. The regular price of their chips is NOT better than Walmart. However today, with my seniors discount, a sale on chocolate chips at Bulk Barn and a coupon, it was worth it. I also bought a small amount of white merken molding wafers. I went to Fortinos to get butterscotch chips which Bulk Barn was out of, and saw that Fortinos was $6 cheaper per kg for the molding wafers than Bulk Barn!! I didn’t price check the butterscotch chips but I’d imagine they were cheaper too. Also, when I was at Bulk Barn, I asked at the cash how much the milk chocolate chips were and her answer was “oh I don’t know…it’ll be on your receipt” in a very dismissive tone.
Bulk Barn - do better! Your prices and service need improvement. Ugh!!

Horrible experience at this Bulk Barn. I spent around $140 on dry fruit, only to find bugs inside the cashews. This is disgusting, unsafe, and a complete waste of money. Food like this should never be sold to customers. I’ve already reported this to the health department, and they will be inspecting the store. Shoppers deserve to know what they are getting into — this location clearly has a serious quality and safety problem.

This particular bulk barn is a great location to get your bulk goods. The selection is awesome and the store is clean and well managed with friendly and helpful staff. I will only give a five star to one location because of an employee that knows every product code by memory which is very impressive. This is a high review and this Queenston Rd location is my preferred store ??
I came in today and saw a bag of "organic brown rice crackers". I got those with the wasabi peas for a total of 5 dollars. They should call it Bulk Mouldy Food. The rice cakes have a strong taste of green mould. No Thanks!

I killed a bug inside one of the cases while shopping and showed it to the employee. I have also had one other time where I bought rice from here, and realized there were maggots in it when I went to cook it. I don’t shop at this location anymore.

Peanut butter crunch has some sort of caterpillars in them. It's not maggots as others have seen. They have tiny legs and spin what appears to be silk. Found them while eating and were hanging from what looks like webs from the food. Just disgusted by the whole ordeal

Usually never have problems but the Garden of Eatin' trail mix had MAGGOTS in it. Wish it wasn't 3am when I noticed because now I won't sleep until I bring this cursed bag back to them
