It's hard to rate a restaurant when you show up and it's locked. No notification to say they were closed. We drove 40 minutes for a 7pm reservation to arrive and the doors are locked. Open Table should not promote this chain. Very disappointing!!!!
I gave it a mediocre rating because the place was closed when we got there, so I really don't know if it's any good. It's frustrating that they didn't suspend reservations or place a notice on their website indicating they were temporarily closed.
I highly recommend Mrs Alice Frank to everyone looking for Forex and Bitcoin trader. Words can't describe how wonderful she's did on my trading account, I am delighted I trusted her and gave her a chance to help grow my $1,000 in to $12,700 in just a week. I advice the entire public to invest with Mrs Alice Frank contact:+1 (925) 452-7444 Email: [email protected]
Excellent! Very welcoming place, amazing attentive staff. Manager Heidi is very welcoming, friendly and very fun to talk to.Went on Rib night, had a great meal and drinks. Best ribs ever, so very tasty.Great atmosphere, great place.Definitely recommend!
It would have been a lot better if, on a Saturday night, they hadn't run out of several items we tried to order, including a second cup of coffee. The food was very good once we ordered stuff they had. I think I would phone before going again to see what was in stock. They do their own smoking of meats and that is worth the visit.
This was the worst dinner out we have had in 2 years The service was the worst I have ever seen. The food was terrible. It was cold and took a half hour to come to us. Only 2 tables in the restuarant where busy so no excuse for the late dinner. We asked for pino white wine the waitress said they just ran out nobody was drinking wine. It was the biggest mistake we made for dinner. Please if you going there change your mind you will be much better off.
Server very nice, helpful suggestions, friendly. Food not so much. Did not find the ribs very tender, the were only lukewarm but this was corrected with no issue. Potato salad was dry and the coleslaw had little flavour. Liked the looks of the restaurant which is a converted church. Rating is based on the food. Pictures of food were not worth taking. Will not be returning.
Went to this place twice and really enjoyed the food. Food was very much on point. Briskets, Ribs and Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers are my top picks. Service on both occasions were very friendly and prompt. Got our food less than 20 minutes. Presentation of the food was very attractive and want me craving for more. Will go back there again.
It was our very first visit at Hogtown Smoke and everything was excellent. The only complaint every single person at the table had was the music was beyond loud. It was a very good choice of music but the level was out of control. I chose to not say anything to the server to not look like I was complaining but I wish I had.
The mains were good. The appetizers of burnt ends was so hard it hurt my jaw to chew them. The jalapeño popper were extremely hard to cut and the filling tasted like toothpaste. Also, the menus were filthy.

Best BBQ 'round these parts! They care about flavour and quality, and it's shows in the final product.Pleasant staff that'll make ya feel like you're at home.Great drink selection, the food never disappoints, and I regularly find myself saying "That's the best I've ever had!"
It's saddens me to write this review. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. The meal we had was less then enjoyable. We ordered a platter. We were told upfront that they had no sausage, was replaced with wings. We thought that was a good options. Service was not great. When our food arrive the wings were hot on the outside and cold on the inside, like just out of the fridge cold. Roasted chicken was extremely dry, French fries over cooked and had been around for awhile, onion rings were eextremely greasy. It was just not a good experience all around. Staff behind the bar were swearing and loud. Would not have been happy if I was in there with small children. All in all it was an experience we would be in a hurry to repeat.
Ordered for the first time tonight as my birthday dinner and my whole family is thoroughly impressed. The meat is so tender and tasty. Money well spent and atmosphere screams comfort food.
It's been over three long years to have finally found a place that can smoke meat better than me. I'm not tooting my own horn, but good bbq is very hard to find and I cannot say enough about Hog Town Smoke. The food is outstanding and the service is great, I was even fortunate enough to meet the owner and the bbq pit chef. I'm telling you I don't care how far away you live, this place is worth the drive.
Visited for the first time and ordered pulled pork with two sides…macaroni salad and corn bread. Ordered a Caesar to drink which was bland and had what I’m assuming was their house rub on the rim. Didn’t care for it. My server was apologetic for the wait time for the drink and the food and I heard her apologize to other tables on the patio as well. I don’t know if it was the bar/kitchen that was slow, or her, but the place was almost empty, so there was no reason for such slow service. Anyway, the pork tasted okay, but was cold. I tried the three bbq sauces provided and didn’t like any of them. The macaroni salad was quite good, but could have used a little more mayo so it wasn’t so dry. The cornbread muffins were dense, crumbly, and greasy. I asked my server about them, as the menu stated they were served with whipped butter. She said that different people in the kitchen prepare dishes in different ways, and that she believed these had been dipped in butter. I asked for them to be removed from the bill, and they were. As for the excuse, I’m surprised, as every professional kitchen I’ve worked in, all dishes were prepared the same way regardless of who was doing the cooking so there was consistency. Overall, I found the food lacking in quality and overpriced. I’m disappointed that it wasn’t a more positive experience, but I won’t be visiting again. Also, when I walked in, one of the tables near the bar had what looked liked bills/paperwork all over it. That just looks unprofessional and not very welcoming to customers. And so I just read the other reviews and would never have given them my business if I had known how terrible they are. Not paying staff, suppliers, cleaners and more. I’d say I hope they shut down, but it looks like they’re doing everything to ensure that happens anyway.
