That’s was the worst experience I got from McDonald’s. Besides the service was bad there, also that was the first time I order a cheeseburger and there was no meet in the burger! When I called back to ask for a refund, they said no, and the only thing they can do is when I go back they can make me a new one, but I already on the highway ( I just stoped there on my way to Niagara Falls), and how can I go back just for a burger. How ridiculous….

The oil in which the orders were fried had not been changed for a long time, which is probably why the dishes had a bitter aftertaste of old oil.

I really enjoyed my raw hamburger!
Asked for no salt, but they gave me fries with salt. When I returned to store, Manager/supervisor (assuming they wear the black shirts unique from the rest of their worker) gave a look of disappointment and said I would get one size smaller since I ate a couple of fries. I argued that I only tasted the salt after taking the first few. She brushed me off and made small fries, and threw out my bag of medium fries. I commented that she made the error and yet was disgruntled. I took the fries and left hoping I could submit a complaint on the app where I made the order from. Date was 7:30-8pm on Nov. 26, 2024. Unfortunately, McDonald's app doesn't have a contact us page. So I'm leaving this review as a warning to others. Feel sorry for the workers that work in the toxic environment.

I ordered breakfast at McDonald’s, and while waiting for my order to be ready, I started eating a snack I’d brought from Walmart. Suddenly, an older woman approached me and told me I couldn’t eat Walmart food at McDonald’s. I was shocked and tried to explain that I was a customer, but she insisted and even tried to stop me from eating. It felt so rude!

I was just at this establishment in Walmart at Stoney Creek and you have a worker by the name of Tessa who is absolutely lovely and deserves a raise. We all know it's tough working in customer service and she makes it look like a breeze! She undoubtedly put a smile on everyone's face there.
10/10 Tessa. Keep doing what you're doing, you're making a difference. 🤍

When placing my order at the counter, I witnessed staff treating a customer poorly. He was an elderly man who clearly did not speak English well. He was wearing a mask and I thought it was possible that they couldn’t hear him asking for a tray. When I said “he wants a tray,” one of the managers turned on me. I was surprised to now be 1 of 2 customers treated poorly within a 5 min span. When the young cashier took my order, I said it was very disappointing to be treated poorly by a manger who has been working with McDonalds since before he was born. I had been a retail manager for 10 years in the early 2000s next door to another McDonald’s where the same manager worked back then. I walked out of the McDonald’s and stood in the Walmart waiting for them to call my number when the young cashier whispered something in the managers ear. Moments later she exited the McDonald’s and confronted me in the Walmart. I told her I didn’t want to speak with her 3x but she refused to leave me alone and the stress of the situation caused me to leave the store for the safety of my car (where she could not follow). I called the store to ask for her name so I could make sure the office was aware of how I was treated but she was handed the phone and eventually began screaming at me. I’m not completely sure what she said, but I heard her clearly say she was calling the police to allege I had assaulted her. I know this sounds absolutely bizarre but I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Upset customers are a fact of the industry and having been in a similar role for half my life, I know it can be tough. I’m also aware that big corporations rarely pay staff what they deserve but none of this excuses the behaviour of the manager. It is completely unacceptable to leave the restaurant and pursue a customer into the Walmart because of hurt feelings. Maybe this manager is excellent at her job, but that wasn’t my experience today and I’m entitled to my opinion whether she likes it or not.

The worst treatment I have ever seen from the employees in this branch. They do not respect delivery drivers at all. They are arrogant and haughty. I hope this message reaches its owner. Thank you.

I was.at your establishment yesterday evening. When I approached the counter to order I wasn’t greeted with respect or with any urgency. I had to wait until they were finished their conversation 6-7 Employees standing near the front where they put the orders together. There wasn’t any type of “Up sell”. Got my cup before my order was ready got my drink in the drink. Area was absolutely disgusting. Nothing had been clean. The counters were dirty, As I went to go pick my table I noticed that every single table in there was dirty people sitting at tables that were dirty. Even the garbage cans were filthy and overflowing!
Where are your managers to facilitate when there’s nothing to do you clean? This is an ongoing situation at your restaurant cleanliness in the general public area is lacking! Customers, waiting around while all of your staff and managers chitchat about things outside of their job. You need to do better!!!!

The lady that served us was super friendly and extremely nice and so polite , her and her coworker who were serving were super helpful and had great energy just wish I had gotten their names

Called to confirm order early in the morning today, the guy on the phone is very rude! No respect. I would highly recommend to go visit other locations. Also, to the management - retrain your staff for proper customer service.
