I ordered through Uber and my request was ignored at all - missed egg and shrimp which I paid extra dollars. Contacted Uber but they confirmed nothing can be done. Pad thai was too dry as well. Never going to order here again.
This place is authentic Thai cuisine. It’s literally the best kept secret. I love their Tom Yum soup! I love the reasonably priced menus and the low key vibe and comfortable seats. This place is a 10/10.

Vegan rice had egg. Called in and they had no idea if there was or was not egg in it. My family has an egg allergy and we just about spent the night in the hospital thank to their poor food saftey. Was told "they make alot of rice" and to refund through Uber Eats. Terrible experience. Would 0 star if I could.
Vegetarian options: It's a lie. There will be egg.

I used to get food from here every week, it was my favourite local Thai place. Recently, their food has been poor quality, but has increased in price. It's a shame because they used to be so good 😞
Ordered takeout for 5 people on Sat for dinner.
Grilled chicken, pad thai, glass noodles, stir fry w/tofu, calamari, coconut shrimp, tom yum soup, wonton soup, and spring rolls.
Even the picky eaters ate every last bit! 10/10

Good food, tiny tiny portion. I'm a female who eats a small portion, and it was still not enough for me.
Food, service, and atmosphere was amazing at Thai Diner! They were so nice and accommodating to my table of 20 and the food reminded me of when I was a little boy in the streets of Thailand. Very authentic!

It used to be my favourite Thai Restaurant in Hamilton, but it has really gone downhill. Fresh rolls are a lot smaller, the mangoes in the mango salad are not ripe at all, and the tom yum soup doesn't have the same depth of flavour as it used to. It almost tastes citrusy and not the same as before. I guess I'll go to My Thai from now on, it's just a little bit far from me.

Wow! What an incredible find! This tastes like Thailand - brought us back! We had the veggie pad thai, pad woon sen, thai orange cashew with huge shrimp, spring rolls and golden calamari. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

For 15.99 a pad thai, this portion is a bitter smaller than I expect. I lovw Thai food, and I have ttied many places foe thai food. Another dish as garlic shirmp is not authentic, I hope you serve fresh or frozen pawn shirmp than deep fried shirmp with batter. No very satisfied for the mother's day dinner. Pineapple tastes bad in pineapple fried rice. The only thing that is good must be Chicken Satay. Definately wont come back ever. Thanks

The quality of food at Thai Diner seems to continue to drop and the customer service is always atrocious!!!A week ago, I phoned in an order at around 7:15pm for pickup. I understand it is a Friday night, which can be busy so I was not bothered by being told it would be 25-30 mins wait. I had a few other things to do so I took the wait time as an opportunity to do so.I arrived at the restaurant at 7:50pm (35 mins after the order) and there was only 1 dine-in guest and 1 food delivery service worker in the restaurant. When I asked for my food, the employee told me it would be another 5 mins so I decided to sit in the restaurant to wait. 5 mins went by, 10 mins went by, 15 mins went by and still nothing. The employee didn't even say anything to me about the extended delay and I had to go to the counter to ask. She told me she was waiting on 1 more item so I sat back down pretty annoyed. 5-8 mins later, still nothing so I went back to the counter and asked and she was still waiting for the item.At this point I was very annoyed and frustrated as I had many other things to do and it had been 50 mins since my order and nearly double the time I was originally told. I told the employee about this and all she could say was that there was only 1 chef, she couldn't do anything and that all she could do was say sorry (not even in a genuine way)!! I told her a few times that this is so unacceptable that I have been sitting around waiting for 20-25 mins, when I had already been waiting for 35 mins prior to arriving. She repeated what she said earlier and offered a very insincere and unsympathetic sorry. We have notified them in the past about the lack of customer service so obviously they don’t take feedback and care at all, which is very disappointing!!Once I finally got my food, nearly an hour after ordering, I went home and we found the quality of the food to be so bad. Everything looked below average, our noodle dish only had random chunks of noodles scattered and it was mainly chinese broccoli, our eggplant dish had maybe 7 pieces of tiny eggplant (it was mainly all other vegetables), and our curry was essentially soup. I am not sure what has happened to the quality of the food as this has not been the case in the past. To me, I am not getting what I am paying for!!This was the most disappointing experience I have had at Thai Diner and it is not the first time something has come up.
