The crab rangoon/cheese wontons were 10/10 good. There was a fb post of someone asking where to find Hamiltons best ones..there were quite a few people saying thai diner. I Finally tried! they werent wrong, best ones yet! ..Mango salad was really good too, especially with the mangos being so good this time of year. Thanks for a good meal, will be back! :)

Another great find in Hamilton. Stopped in for a shrimp pad thai and a thai iced coffee. I actually got the iced coffee based on one of the highlighted reviews on here that mentioned that it was great. The thai iced coffee was ok, very creamy and sweet which I think its supposed to be nice coffee flavour, good balance actually. The Shrimp pad thai came with a spring roll which I didnt really care for. The good thing is it was not indicative of what was to follow with the pad thai. Now I'm not asian but I thought this was amazing. It was more saucy than I'm used to but the sauce is thick and bold flavourful. The tambrind shines through. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the shrimp, big and plentiful. I was really impressed with this dish. I would skip the iced coffee next time but I will be back for sure, this was a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend to anyone who loves really bold rich flavours.

Craving for Thai food brought us to this restaurant. We haven't been out for Thai for a few years. The food was amazing. We ordered wonton soup, satay chicken, pad thai, Jasime rice and green curry. Everything came out hot and delicious. The flavour of each dish was perfection. Then for dessert we had the fried bananas. OMG they were so tasty.
Service was great.
Definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

I have never been inside, but I order regularly from Uber and their food is delicious. Never disappointed, always fresh. Thank you Thai Diner!
Update: The last two times I have ordered have been questionable. I hope you can get it together.

We hate when there's been a change in ownership. The crab rangoon has always and still is great!
Everything else we've tried, has been hit or miss. Very inconsistent since ownership changed.
Now they're adding things, like peppers, to a dish, without changing the menu and not everyone likes peppers.
Going much less often, then we use to.

The standards of this place has fallen. The food size, disappointing. The spring rolls here used to be bomb now they are oily and skimpy. We walked in there and the floors are STICKY. The food is oily and barely enough for one person.

Went tonight for the 1st time, ordered Pineapple fried rice with double chicken extra and add Garlic and Ginger please.. Looked good initially, lots of veggies and protein.
HOWEVER, Not the case, absolutely no fresh garlic and ginger as asked for and willing to pay extra, though tasted good overall.
Did I mention, could not find ANY pineapple in my meal?
But with only 4 x shrimp and maybe 8 pieces of chicken(I paid for a double order of chicken) and 80,% rice and hardly ANY carrots, onions, broccoli??
I do not write reviews to bash small business, my dad owned a pizzeria years ago and I understand the challenges restaurants face these days.
However, when I pay $27+tip for a single person meal I do expect more than 80% rice, no decent quantity of proteins and veggies included. Unlike other local establishments I frequently visit.
Sorry...can't recommend...1st and last time...won't be going back.
Other reviewers who stated great portions meat and vegetables... obviously ate elsewhere...or knew the owner.

I picked up two orders of Thai with chicken. They were so dry. It was hard to eat. I had to add things to it. I used to go here all the time, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it anymore.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this spot deserves some recognition. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was on point—warm, welcoming, and most importantly the aroma of the food was lovely. The staff was attentive but not overbearing, and you could tell they actually cared about the experience.
The food was delicious. Every dish was well-executed, from the flavour to the very fair portion sizes. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with that “home cooked” feel.
Service was smooth, and the Taro Milk Tea hit just as hard as the food did.
Prices were more than fair for the quality, and honestly, I’d pay it again without hesitation.
If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on flavor, quality, and service, this is the place.
Solid eats. Highly recommend.
