They accommodated our daughter's complex allergy and the brekfast was hot and fresh.
We love and absolutely recommend The Village!

Well stopped in today for a late lunch, early dinner, 4pm, todays special, lasagna. Waitress, very curt, not the warmest welcome, started to ask what our order was before getting to the table, didn’t ask for our drink order ( probably worked out better). Went to order the days special, told to hang on as she had to check if it was ready, and was informed it wasn’t ready. No, time frame of when it might have been ready, took the hint, wasn’t meant to be there today. Unfortunately, probably won’t be back. This was my experience, may not be a reflection of the normal experiences had of others. I will go elsewhere.

Our experience started off ok, meaning someone came to seat us (but didn't ask which section we preferred), and also gave us a booster seat.
No offer of crayons or a kid's coloring placemat even though we had two year old with us.
After 5 minutes another girl, our waitress, came by with menus; she returned about 10 minutes later and asked for our order.
I ordered a coffee to start but I was never asked if I wanted another during the entire time there.
After another 30-40 minute wait, we finally received our food.
The sandwiches looked and tasted alright, but again we were never asked how the food was or for any refills.
The next time the waitress appeared I asked for the bill and a box for the rest of our lunch, as our little two year old was sick of waiting around for so long.
So, all in all a disappointing experience and unfortunately we drove from over half an hour away since the reviews were good on trip advisor.
They make it sound like a family restaurant, but honestly we couldn't have been treated much worse in that regard.

Exceptional Service from Tamara!
We had the pleasure of being served by Tamara during our recent visit to The Village Restaurant, and she truly made our evening special.
Tamara was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered great recommendations from the menu, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the start to the end of our meal. Her friendly smile and calm, confident demeanor created a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The food was amazing!

The Village Restaurant is a gem of a spot with a beautifully stylish interior that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in.
What truly elevated the experience was our server, Ashley – an absolute spark of joy and kindness. She brought warmth and energy that made our visit memorable.
The food was overall good. The avocado toast, while fresh, was slightly under-toasted and had a piece of lettuce that unfortunately threw off the balance of flavor. The coffee also didn’t quite hit the mark for us. Because of that, we’d give the food and drink a solid 4 stars.
That said, the atmosphere and service—especially thanks to Ashley—are glowing 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back, and next time, we’ll try something new from the menu.
PS - I reviewed an out of date (3 years ago) menu picture online and unfortunately was expecting lower prices
