Had a family birthday celebration here and it was amazing! I had the event catered with help from Shaun. He was easy to talk to and worked with me on everything. His attention to the details and my requests were met with helpful advice. A true professional who is highly personable. The service from Diana was just like having family help you. She was very relatable and super patient. She kept things on schedule and helped out a ton!! The food cooked by Mike was adored by everyone! From the antipasto, lasagna, chicken parm and all the way to the cake it was nothing short of delicious!! Everyone complimented the atmosphere and food all night long. It was a great experience and I would book this venue again!

Im sorry but i was really craving a good veal sandwich, for close to $20 dollars i got amazing fresh bread, the sauce is delicious, unfortunetly the main being the veal was bery tough and hard to chew, probably days or week old. I took out the veal after 3 bites and enjoyed cheesy tomato bread. Still looking for something like california sandwichs.

Valentino’s is THE Italian restaurant in Hamilton. My parents have had their savoury dishes growing up, and their pastries are a staple in both our household and at family gatherings. They are literally the centrepieces on our tables!I’ve unfortunately only been able to sample their pastries so far, but their bakery makes me want to be able to visit their restaurant myself one day. The pastries themselves are absolutely DELECTABLE and simply the best! The Cannoli, Tiramisu and little mascarpone cakes are heaven in every bite.I highly recommend, HIGHLY recommend Valentino’s if you’re looking for delicious, authentic Italian food and pastries. They’ve been around since 1978, and you tell each sweet treat is made with love and from recipes handed down generations. From what my parents tell me, their food is also incredible. Delizioso!

The atmosphere is fine, not very high end but not a pub. Service is good, the server didn't stand out in anyway but I was part of a large group of 12/13 so it can be a lot for a server. I had calamari to start, and it was excellent, super tender and the batter was light and crisp. The mussels in beer sauce, which were a tad overcooked, the mussels were quite small, and the sauce was extremely salty, normally I drink up all the broth/sauce from mussels and I couldn't with these. I also had a gluten free pizza, traditional, with garlic. I've had worse gluten free crusts, and I've had better. The toppings were more like a delivery pizza place than what I'd expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. I ordered a bourbon old fashioned, and I don't think they knew how to make it because I just got a rocks glass of bourbon, ice and an orange peel lol.I was looking at the other things the rest of the group were getting, I wasn't super impressed, the carbonara looked too thick and chunky, the garden salads were heavy on iceberg and light on every thing else. I just think with the prices it should have been a little better.I've gone to east side Mario's and had equal/better for less.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options

This place has great food! I'd recommend trying the soup. I've been about 4 times and had the soup each time and each one was a different one but always tasted amazing! Try the veal, it's tasty!
