Bentley's Bar Inn & Restaurant

We've been here plenty of times. Thr food is good, nothing outstanding, but good.

We went in tonight and they were quite busy, as a show was getting out down the street. The deal here is to seat yourself, so we did. A few moments later someone came up and said to talk to the guy in the white shirt, then he just threw a reserved sign on our table, no explanation. When I asked the guy with the white shirt if there were any tables he just shook his head. Didn't say a word and looked away. I asked if everything was reserved, he just nodded. And barely acknowledged me. Didn't say one word to me and just stared at his little piece of paper. When we walked away a server told us the man in the white shirt could help us, I told them he didn't help at all and she gave a funny look. I get that they were busy because a show must have just ended, but that doesn't excuse the terrible way we were treated. Just horrible way to treat local customers. We won't be back for a long time.

Was our first time and each meal ordered at our table was great. Our server was friendly and welcoming also. Made for a great experience. We only ate at the restaurant, no overnight stays.

Take out. Terrible service. Not even a napkin or fork with a $5 tip. Bitchy waitress.
I will never go back. Food was missing the cucumber as well. You suck.nbe nicer if you want repeat customers..I went 3 times and each time. They failed.

Had a late lunch today and our server was inattentive and not at all friendly. Fries were ice cold and it took forever to get our server to have them replaced. Ended up just not having them. Disappointed as normally the food and service are great.

Fantastic food with amazing wait staff! It is lovely and nestled downtown in the heart of Stratford. Delicious poutine!

We go to Stratford at least twice a year. The food menu is varied and we have all enjoyed it. They are always busy but the staff are very attentive and caring

Jack and the Bentley’s team wowed us with their hospitality, food, and service during a recent lunch visit. Had the fantastic daily soup and sandwich special, which they were able to adapt to better suit my dietary restrictions. And they also were super accommodating of our rushed schedule. Definitely a great spot to check out!

Excellent food and service. Hadn't been in awhile and didn't fail us. Best burger of the summer.

Food and drinks: GF had the cutlet with a beer from St. Marys. I had the pulled pork burger with Monterey Jack cheese and of course a Guinness. And a quick dash across the back parking lot to Rheo Thompson bf it closed.

Great restaurant! Cocktails and apps were amazing. Wings were awesome. Sat out on the patio and enjoyed the street view . Service was also awesome.

I loved the service and the food. I came with a big group but there was space for us even without reservation. They were accommodating with food substitutions when possible and everything was to my taste. I had the daily soup and half sandwich and honestly was one of the best soups I had in a while. I would come again next time I'm in Stratford. I also wanted to book a room, but space for larger groups seemed limited so I'm satisfying myself with just the food!

Amazing food and service! We were also in a rush and the waiter was very accommodating, bringing the bills immediately but waiting for us to finish eating. Thank you, Jack!
