“For over 30 years we have enjoyed the Stratford Festival experience. We have enjoyed the Prune Restaurant and now that they have moved to Ontario street new location even more. The ambience and the food is outstanding and we enjoy our server Saxon who goes out of her way to make this a first class experience.
My wife is gluten-free and Saxon has catered to her needs. We even Were fortunate enough to hav Randy come out of the kitchen to make sure my wife knew everything she order was Gluten-free.
If you plan to eat dinner in Stratford you owe this to yourself and friends to dine at this restaurant.

“We were looking for vegetarian options and chanced upon this place.. We ordered the falafel with pickles and hummus.

Coming from Mississauga, we always have very high expectations on Falafels. But this place, knocked it out of the park!! The falafels were crunchy, full of flavours overall and great experience.

The owner was also very nice and welcoming!!

She had great timing without hovering, had great suggestions on the menu and was very personable. We had the Pineapple Situation and the NY Strip. Both were excellent! “I’ve tried many pizza places, but this one is by far the best! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way it should be. The toppings are fresh and generously added, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Just as we started eating a really scruffy guy comes into the store with his bicycle and takes a seat at a table near a window, pulls out a packet of something and proceeds to put it either in his mouth or nose. I couldn't see where, because his hands hid most of his face. Then after about 10 or so minutes he left. I'm sure he goes there often. It ruined the visit.”

The bartender had great recommendations for a flight of tasters and tell us a little bit about the history of the brewery. The atmosphere was nice and he came to check up on us a couple of times. I would definitely recommend checking out this venue if you like local breweries.”

Not only were they extremely easy / flexible when creating a dinner menu / responding to emails, they were punctual with delivery & pick up, had all supplies required, and the food was DELICIOUS! My Father recently passed away & this was my moms first anniversary without him. You and your team helped make it extra special. Will definitely order again.. Cheers!”

I placed my order for 2 blizzards online, then picked them up at the window. I waited for a brief time when they brought them to me.
I got to the car and realized that my order was incorrect.

I brought it back and they agreed and said, “no problem, I will remake it”
In about 20 seconds it was returned to me. I thanked them and went back to my car.

They didn’t remake another one, they just added the missing ingredients. Which made it already very liquidy.

I didn’t complain again, it tasted fine”

The service was incredible. Really great people behind the counter people that really care and I suggest this is a must do in Stratford Ontario before any event that you have. Try the Mumbai bowl or create your own bowl.. it’s legit!

“Been here lots over the years. I used to find the fries soggy. This time I found them to be very crispy. Im not sure if the new owners are blanching them but it was defiantly an improvement. Cheese curds were great and plentiful. Staff were pleasant. The cook seemed very nice. I like that the owner is doing the ordering at the bar rather than the truck. It probably gives the chef/ cook more room in the truck. I hope that when they update their menu they add in some Brisket and some other bbq. My wife used love to get the butter chicken poutine from the bru garden and she asked to mention that on here! (Plz bring it back!)”

“I thought I would take a walk and get some ice cream. It seemed like a good place, as it was within a good distance. The ice cream was good, but I was a little disappointed that they only have soft serve. All of the flavors are really dips, not flavors of ice cream. This actually made it harder to eat in the heat, because the ice cream was melting inside the dip and coming out the cracks. I'm not so sure I would add it to my favorite places. ?”

“Absolutely excellent. we had the foot long (ok, it's 9 inches, but that's plenty), with onion rings for me and fries for my hubby. Absolutely the best onion rings I've had in years...not preformed or even baked...the real thing. the hotdog was perfectly cooked and the bun was lovely and fresh. I was going to give it 9/10, but wondered what could be improved, so 10/10 it is! A real summertime treat!”

“Food is great here, they have a lot of different items besides just regular breakfast items, different kinds of pancakes and hashes, a pulled pork hash if you wanted even, food quality is decent and never bad quality

The service is amazing, never had issues getting a server to notice us, and they usually are fast to taking orders and asking your preferences, usually telling you the best deals or new items to come out, and with a smile and utmost respect

Atmosphere is average at best, sometimes restaurant has the same playlist of songs playing over and over, seats are usually comfy but mostly wooden chairs, unless you’re trying a booth, the staff are friendly so it adds to liveliness of the place, a decent breakfast place to relax and enjoy

Most people come here over and over and never seen disappointed, I think the best thing about the restaurant is the food and the drinks, whether you want burgers or sandwiches or breakfast food, the good times are always available in this restaurant.

Wheelchair parking spots are close by and eat to enter restaurant, they do have washrooms to use and lots of space for customers to get a spot to sit and eat, prices are usually cheaper considering what you get, an average cost between 2 people is around 34-40$. Portion sizes are decent as well. Worth a visit

“Every time we visit this Popeyes it's always a fresh chicken we can smell. The restaurant management must be great as the entire restaurant always seems super clean and shiny. We always been treated with respect and our food always comes fresh crispy and tasty. Staff is very polite at this store and always ask us "how was your experience". Stratford best food location to try wings specially the honey bbq and garlic Parmesan. Keep it up popeyes.”
