“I ordered Salted caramel latte with grilled cheese melt and a Cashew cookie. Grilled cheese melt was good but very hard to bite on corners. The coffee was a great combination with the cookie. The flavour of cookie was melting in my mouth when i had the very first bite. Moreover, the vibe and aura of cafe was really good but it is really hard to get a seat during weekends. I think you should set some limit for sitting due to less seating area, so that everyone gets the same chance to enjoy.“
“This place is a treat! We always go to the Braai House located upstairs from this place. Since the same owners run this too we figured why not try it and we were not disappointed. The owners and staff are a delight! Love the food, service, and their ability to accommodate gluten free. 95% of their menu was actually gluten free. We will be back!!! OFTEN!“
“If you are debating staying here at Edison’s Inn, DO IT! You won’t regret it. I stayed here in the “Celebrations” room and it was gorgeous. Bruce was SO accommodating and ensured that we had a great stay, he went above and beyond!!! We had an amazing view of the river as well! I will 100% be staying here again and I recommend to anyone!“
“Stopped in on our way out of town, they make a killer cup of coffee and even better croissants, but it comes at a price. Not sure if this is just tourist town pricing or not but two cups off coffee, a ham and cheese croissant and cheese scone ran us $30.Staff was a bit short, didn’t want us looking at their pastries while they made the coffee. Odd, but ok.Let me reiterate. They make a great cup of coffee and you really need to try one of their croissants.“
“Me and my partner came on a Saturday and the place was pretty busy, lots of smiles and good vibes when waiting to enter the kitty room. I dont know how the food was or drinks since we were only there to see the cats but the food i saw others order/enjoying seemed pretty good for a lil Cafe. Seems a lil pricey for the drinks but what isnt nowadays. Besides that the experience of going in and playing with the cats or just giving them lil pets was great, certain cats are lil grumpy at times but they all are very lovely and cute. Had a great time in my hour long visit and even saw some new cats being introduced to the environment there. Was very nice, staff was nice and even tho it was busy at the time we went it they still had a smile on and was very helpful. The only part that frustrated me was a mom and kid were in at the last 25 mins and the kid was making a mess by throwing all the toys around and chasing all the cats with them sometimes almost striking the cats with the one toy she had, but thats less of the staffs fault and more the parent supervising fault at failing to control their kid. Besides that its a very nice place, a little small but good environment and wonderful and loving cats and good staff would recommend. Also i see reviews getting mad about not knowing that you have to book or pay for seeing the cats which its posted on the door and can be found on the website so if you use your brain then you'll be set to visit this delightful place:) if you plan on bringing your kids just make sure they aren't interfering with others experience and you'll be set. “A relaxed vibe, I love the different aspects to this cafe / wine bar located just slightly outside the downtown hustle bustle. The perfect environment to me friends, being your social group, have a night out with friends or that special someone. I’m so glad my friend referred me.
