“The cappuccino might be the best one I drank since I moved to Canada. Food is delicious, service is just as good. I love that they're pet friendly. There's not a lot of available places to sit though. It's the only thing I'd change, as well as the salty price (but we know it's a local business and we'd rather pay high prices at a local store than a chain restaurant/bakery).“

“This place is fantastic. I visit Amils 3 or 4 times a week it is like steeping in to a friends or family's place. It is truly that comfortable. The food is excellent and portions are generis. The menu at first glance seems a bit disorganized, however you can just ask Amil if he has something he will NOT be offended and will answer yes or if its no he will offer a suggestion of what he does make that is similar and can and will alter your order slightly on request to suit. Amil is very pleasant and polite man and goes to long lengths to make sure your visit is enjoyable, even as a 1 man show it is impressive to see how quick he is.“

“We stopped in for lunch today after a long absence. The Chef's Table is one of those places that falls off of our radar, but shouldn't. Especially given the price, it's some of the best food in town; it's classic and imaginative, all at once, and the atmosphere of the venue is very nice. We had the coq au vin (with a garlic polenta--nice touch!), an endive salad, where it was slightly and nicely grilled, the beer-battered shrimp, and a not-too-sweet lime tart (the pisco sour was good, although not quite foamy enough). We'll definitely be back.As others have noted, the service is friendly and enthusiastic. I guess it's a sign of the times and not just of The Chef's Table, but it can be obtrusive for all that: we got interrupted all the time with questions, or announcements that the server would be bringing out this or that. Nothing close to keeping us from coming back. But getting a read of the table would turn a good experience into an excellent one.“

“The food here is absolutely phenomenal. When entering, you're met with wonderful aromas and a very nice and humble owner. We've had the jerk chicken and the curry chicken, both served with rice and coleslaw, and each has been full of flavor. Prices are quite reasonable. (I've actually never left a review before, but Irie Bites is just too good not to recognize.)“

“Mai's is located on what almost appears to be a side street, which has a cluster of quaint shops, a pub, and this great little place.Inside there are seats for 30, and it's small in size but big in ambience. The server was friendly, prompt, and greeted regulars like old friends, even remembering one couple who apparently hadn't been in in a while.I had the green curry with chicken, which comes with a portion of jasmine rice. The curry is like a soup with broccoli, carrots, onion, green beans, and Thai basil. It's fragrant and very tasty. I have had this particular dish all over the place (Toronto, Owen Sound, Orillia, Orangeville, Edmonton) and this is easily the best. I generally like to mix the rice into the curry and did the same here.I ordered some chicken pad Thai to take with me for dinner later and I anticipate it will be just as yummy.I highly recommend Mai's and shall definitely return next time I'm in London.Parking: The parking is street parking. I was lucky to find parking across the street.“

“Despite living in London for the past few years, I only recently tried out this place! This beautiful cafe is very conveniently located and is always busy. During peak times, it may be difficult to find a seat but they do open up fairly quickly. The service here is amazing, they’re super attentive and nice which is a big plus.In terms of their food, their cruffins are TO DIE FOR - I absolutely love them to death. They rotate their flavours and every single one I’ve had has been phenomenal. Admittedly, difficult to eat which the sugar coating on the croissant mixed with the custard inside but still so so good that it’s worth the mess. I do wish it was served warmed which would take it to the next level! The sandwiches are surprisingly good as well. My favourite is the ham and Swiss. It is very filling and I love how much they pack into the sandwich (especially how much Dijon they put in it hehe). In terms of the coffee, it was decent. I was expecting more bold flavours to come out and taste the richness but unfortunately I could not. Maybe I had too high of expectations for the coffee after tasting the pastries and food but regardless, it was still decent coffee.Overall though, this place is an amazing place to sit down, eat, read, study, and catch up with friends! I definitely will be coming back and trying more of their items :)“
