“Went here the first time on a recommendation from a friend. We had been meeting other places before but I did not like the atmosphere at the last place we went. Came to Asmara and it was lovely. The atmosphere feels clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, really great vibes! In my opinion this is the nicest coffee place in London if you want to meet a friend to "catch up".“

“We’ve been wanting to try Pur & Simple for awhile now, and we’re so glad we did! We visited on a Sunday morning, and although there was a lineup, and we were told it was at least a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in just under 15 minutes (A+ for efficiency!)
The service was amazing- Emma was fantastic! She’s efficient, friendly, and has an incredible memory! Emma made the experience that much better! We really enjoyed our meals, there were 5 of us, so we all tried something different- the breakfast bowl, crepes, avocado toast, classic breakfast, and pancakes were all super delicious and portion sizes were quite big. There is definitely good value for money here! So glad we gave Pur & Simple a try, we’ll be back for sure!“

“Happiness is a lovely little cafe with a small but delicious menu. There are pasta and rice dishes (two pasta choices are vegetarian!), some sandwiches, and sweets. The pan de sal is incredible. The lattes, both hot and iced, are great and even the regular sizes are huge. I also loved the triple chocolate cake in a cup.“

“These are by far the best donuts in London. Just brought a pack up North to family and they were the best they'd had too. We had the lemon meringue and the passionfruit raspberry. Perfectly fluffy, tangy, sweet and mouth-watering.“

“I've come here to study a couple times now and it's always a very nice, calm, and productive space. The pastry options are fantastic and I love the bagels (which are offered at a good price). They allow studying, have a good amount of seating with outlets nearby, and they offer wifi to customers if you ask.

The staff are friendly and pleasant.

I've tried their matcha which I enjoyed, as well as their bagged tea which was good. I was only surprized that they don't allow a hot water refill for the tea, which is usually standard practice for cafes and breakfast places at that price ($3 for a small).“

“I had custom order donuts here for my daughter’s 7th birthday, Linda and Lori went above and beyond anything I could imagine. I originally asked for the vanilla dipped donut and if possible to have pink icing.
When I went to pick them they had hot pink icing with bunny sprinkles. Some were fully covered in sprinkles and others where only half dipped in sprinkles.
The ladies here are always a pleasure to deal with and if you’re ever in need of a donut cake I would 100% recommend them.“

“Lovely folks! We used the drive thru this morning with three very different breakfast orders. The server on the intercom was polite and very positive without sounding fake. Clearly the team works well because we received food and drinks in less than 5 minutes. We ordered in the drive thru which makes this all the more remarkable. Everything was well packaged and we received extra napkins with a smile. Loved this experience. Over the top.“

“I would say this is the best milk tea in oxford with a variety of drinks. Will definite go there again. The staffs are friendly and the atmosphere is chilling. “I visit this store almost every day, but I have never been treated properly before. This time, there was a new girl working at the drive-thru. I don't know her name, but she was wearing bangles. She treated me very kindly and professionally. When she went to get my food, she let me know instead of leaving me waiting at the window without saying anything. I really appreciated her polite and thoughtful customer service.“

“My daughter and her friend ordered drinks through the app to this location accidentally, and when they showed up at the location they thought it was, they had no record of the order. The team there was rude about it and made them pay again to get their drinks, had no solutions to offer except paying twice. When I called this location to cancel the making of their drinks, they said that if we drove over they'd happily refund the money AND apologized for our bad experience. They followed up with the unhelpful location and really made our day. They called it an honest mistake and wanted to make sure the girls had a pleasant experience. Above and beyond - very pleased.“

“I go to this location because it is right across from my work. They are always friendly and my drinks are always delicious. I do recommend to order on the app about 10mins before because they can take a bit sometimes during busy times. Other then that I definitely recommend.“

“This was the BEST bubble tea I've ever had! I had the fruit fusion tea with tapioca and it was delish! It had tiny pieces of FRESH apples and oranges in it. “When visiting this location I have to say the team here is great. The only reason for my three out of five stars is for the employee named Steve. He lacks customer service skills. He will yell at the customers and advise them he cannot sell and baked goods once it hits 5pm. Advising the customer that they are accounted for and going into the garbage. Even so, would Tim Hortons like to receive the money from this purchase instead of saying it’s going into the garbage.

Steve does not seem to enjoy his job. Everything seems to be a bother.

I have worked in customer service for a number of years. His demeanour is not inviting or friendly to your location.
