“My wife and numerous friends have been to the Bungalow numerous times. While the food and service have been good in the past, we had not had any main issues to recently. Based on how the owner dealt with the most recent experience, we would not return (the initial issue related to food quality, lack of service). Following our visit, I sent a message to the restaurant via Facebook. The owner finally reached out to me (after several messages) via phone almost 1.5 weeks later. From my point of view, he can’t seem to come to terms that someone had a bad experience and makes no effort to rectify things. His message to “let me know when you are in again” came across as arrogant as he assumed one would offer up their money again with no incentive to return. The hallmark of any good business is not how they deal with just the good experiences, it is also how they deal with the bad. As London has so many good restaurants, with managers/owners who can listen and respond appropriately, we will not be returning to the Bungalow.“

“I don't usually leave reviews but this drive thru experience deserves a shout - out! From start to finish everything was perfect. Manos was incredibly friendly and efficient, greeting with smile, suggest more topping, combo, dessert and making sure we got our order right. The line moved fast even during a busy night we got hot and fresh food as bonus.

“I have been coming to this location for a couple of years for a number of reasons.
The food is always top-notch and are constantly upgrading their menu.
The managers are helpful and very supportive and know their job.
The wait staff are the real heroes of this story. Time and time again, the servers and bar staff are the main reasons that make the night always so enjoyable. They are personable, uber-friendly, and will support patrons in any way to make their stay at Jack Astors enjoyable.
There are so many servers to point out for their excellence, but I am going to point out FIL!
FIL has been a constant at Jack Astors, and we are thankful for his humor, his charm, and constant assistance. His knowledge of the menu and drinks is extremely impressive, and he is a perfect mix of professional server and helpful restaurant friend!!
We go to Jack Astors for the food, the trivia, and the ambiance, but we really go for the servers like FIL who make us feel like we are with friends.

“This has been one of my fav restaurants in London to eat at and I used to eat here once a week pre pandrmic. I don't know if its still the after effects or if there's new management or what but the last 3 times that we have come downtown to eat here, they've been closed. including today where my 9 year old son had planned our 'date night' for my Birthday. Plan was Jay Dee's for our all time FAV cheese sticks and my FAV TBurg followed up with a trip across the road to the Arcade. He even went online and tripled checked the hours to make sure it said open until 730 every day of the week. We arrived downtown around 630 and much to our disappointment AGAIN, the restaurant was CLOSED. So we had to change up our plans and eat across the road at the Arcade Bar. In my opinion you should somehow notify your customers on your website of early closures so they are aware prior to the trip downtown and paying for parking etc if applicable. The first 2 times this happened we had driven in from out of town to find out of the closures. So my rating is as follows, the food is AMAZING, the atmosphere was always welcoming and comfortable but the random hours are a serious issue. Such a shame to be honest. Not sure after 3 failed times in a row to be met with a closed restaurant that we will try again. I will always rav about the food though.“

“Harvey's in London on pondmills Rd and Commissionors is a beautiful thing. Great service. The staff at this Harvey's will give you that smile and professional service. They make a great burger to your taste. Others say This is it, take or leave it. I'll leave it for Harvey's. It's a clean shop with a dine in atomosphere. Bring family and friends you wont regret it. “Never been here before. Thought we would try it. We both ordered cheese burger 1 with bacon 2 large fry and 2 med drinks. Seemed a little pricey. Our food came quick and done the way we asked. This was too much for me to eat so next time will be a little burger. I was expecting the meat patties like you would get from McDonald's valu burger,but no patties are a fair size. “Got to try some late night Odd Burger to take back to my motel when I was staying in London, Ontario before driving to Toronto for the animal rights march. Seeing so many burger and breakfast options on screen was like walking into a vegan wonderland as an American ? I definitely looked like a star struck tourist. You can even get poutine as a a side for a combo (which I did). I got the Famous Burger which is their version of a vegan Big Mac. They also got a Vopper after the Whopper which includes vegan bacon. The fries were thick cut and generous in portions that definitely left me with enough leftovers for the morning. I got the mocha chocolate shake for dessert and it was so delicious ? Definitely have to try this place again for their breakfast menu when I'm back in Windsor.“
