“We had a birthday party for my son on November 10 at the Spare Room. We knew we would be serving pizza so we reached out to the Pizza Projekt which is connected to the venue.

EXPERIENCE: I have ordered a lot of catering over the years for various parties and functions and I must say that dealing with the GM of Pizza Projekt, Luca, was one of the most professional, but also one of the most personable, interactions I have had. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and went out of his way to make sure we had our order at the desired time. He checked in with me before the party and then personally delivered all the pizzas right to the party. He kindly made sure we had everything we needed before he left. This man is clearly passionate about his business and that’s the kind of person you want to order your food from!

FOOD: If you want authentic pizza, this is it. I personally find most pizza places are too dough-heavy (likely to make up for the lack of ingredients/flavour) but the pizzas here are nice and thin, very much like the ones I’ve had in Italy. Even the cheese squeaks when you bite into it, that’s how you know it’s fresh. We ordered 6 family sized pizzas, more than enough to feed our party of approx 45 people. Leftovers are still just as good, 2 days out. My son never eats left over pizza and he’s been asking for it in his lunchbox every day.

We will definitely be going back to dine at Pizza Projekt to try their other menu items. Thank you Luca for helping to make our son’s birthday party run so smoothly and for the amazing pizza!!“

“We drive all the way from Windsor to London just for Babylon’s shawarma—it’s that good! The sandwiches are massive, and they never skimp on the fillings. The bread is always fresh, and their garlic sauce is absolutely delicious.

If you’re traveling west on the 401, Babylon is just a few minutes off the highway and absolutely worth the stop. The prices are great for the amount of food you get, and we always bring extra sandwiches home for everyone. Even hours later, they still taste amazing!

That said, the inside of the store could use some updated seating—it’s a bit old and not very inviting.

Highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

“My friend and I ordered a medium specialty pizza and an order of cheesy bread sticks. The cheesy bread sticks came out quickly with 1 containers of garlic dip and one marinara, they were quite good, fresh. The mozzarella on the bread sticks was tasty. There was more than the 2 of us could eat. The pizza was great with all the flavors you'd want on a pizza: Olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, lots of cheese. The crust was just right, not to thin, not too thick. We got out of there for less than $20 plus tip. I was told that the management is now changed and i could completely see that change !
