“We went for dinner Halloween night for our anniversary. It was amazing. Out server Jordan was great! Helpful, fun to speak with. Every staff member that we had the please or interacting with was beyond wonderful. The food..there wasn’t anything we didn’t find amazing. Calamari and Korean fried chicken apps amazing. Lamb shank was so tender ..no knife needed and the meal felt like a warm hug. Depth or flavours were incredible! Husband had the tuna and loved every bite. Drinks were great! Highly recommend !“

“Ozzy was super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful navigating the menu to avoid foods that I can’t eat. He shared what his favourites were as well. Earl’s staff members taste (almost) everything on their menu so they have informed opinions. It’s part of their training. Added bonus…Earl’s is Canadian, a Vancouver import.“

“Braylee was great! I think I ordered the wrong dish and she questioned what she heard. It's loud lol. But, mistakes happen and no one is to blame. Braylee apologized and offered the other dish but not necessary. As a customer, I appreciated the effort and kindness. That's really what's important in the service industry.

“For 40 years I have driven by this nondescript appearing restaurant without stopping but yesterday I decided to give it a try and I was amazed at what a top-notch establishment it is. I ordered the turkey dinner and found it to be of excellent quality, large portions, reasonably priced topped off by prompt and friendly service. Worthy of a five star rating for sure“

“The food is excellent. Unfortunately I stood waiting for 10 minutes without acknowledgement. The place was almost empty. When I told the hostess I required seating for 2 adults and a baby so a highchair was needed. She looked at me and said 2 people...I responded 2 adults and a baby, highchair needed. She walked me to a booth with a coloring sheet (no crayons) 3 sets of utensils no high chair. I was definitely miffed. But the waitress made up for the first persons inattentive.“

“Service was excellent! Amanda really showed us the Pickle Barrel love and took amazing care of us. The food was delicious and came out very quick. We were a bit sad to hear they were out of their famous corned beef and pastrami but everything we tried was great! Thanks PB!“

“Great food, though wife ordered medium and I ordered medium rare... mine was perfect medium rare.. hers was more rare than mine.. staff were excellent. Alex is super personable.

“Honestly amazing. My first time eating Ethiopian food, and I had the beef tibs. The flavours were amazing, the portion was seriously generous (I am very full), and the prices were incredibly fair. The woman who served me was lovely, and very helpful and patient with me. Do yourself a favour and stop by. You won’t regret it.“

“Went on Friday night (July 3rd) and had Maryia as our server. One of my friends was visiting from Texas and we introduced him to his first punch bowl!! The World Cup was on and we loved that our server picked up on the vibe that we didn’t care about sports and she made our night! So happy we chose Jack Astor’s.“

“Whenever I have come here, Caprice has been super pleasant and welcoming. She is so cheerful and she sets the tone for a pleasant dining experience.
The food has been a hit & miss - lacking flavor profile in some dishes: like the Thai chicken rice bowl was bleak but the contrast delicious chicken with mushroom sauce.was tasty.

“We just ate Dinner at Jack’s. We got the opportunity to have Meredith for her first table. It was one of my best services from all the restaurants I have been at. She was so sweet, caring, make sure we had everything we need, and just amazing. We will definitely come back. A great time all around.“

“Great lunch or snack spot! There’s lots of tasty soups accommodating diff diets: gluten free, vegetarian , dairy free, and vegan. The atmosphere at the Huron location is relaxed and friendly.“

“Jess was amazing even tho we had issues with how our steak was cooked and was not her fault at all she was such a sweetheart and made sure that our food was brought back to us even tho it took 3 times to get our steak back cooked more than blue.“

“Absolutely exceptional service from Ruben. He went above and beyond from start to finish, and his attention to detail was honestly second to none.

I have some limitations due to a disability, and Ruben was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful about my needs without ever making me feel uncomfortable or like an inconvenience. He made sure I was comfortable, checked in regularly, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of.

You can tell when someone truly cares about providing a great experience, and Ruben absolutely does. The food was great, but the service is what really stood out and made the experience a 10/10.

I would highly recommend asking for Ruben if you visit. Exceptional server and an absolute asset to the restaurant!“

“I highly reccomend this restaruant. The people who work here are wonderful, and go out of their way to make you feel attended to and appreciated. Mike is a wonderful cook, along with all of the cooks. He attends to my elderly mom and ensures that her meal is enjoyed and served the way she requested it. Suzanne is a very kind/caring and efficient server. She goes the extra mile to ensure your experience here is an enjoyable one. I appreciate all the cooks and servers. I also appreciate Voula, who manages the restaurant with her family. It is not easy to run a business, but they all do what they can to make your dining experience at Harry's a good one. I highly reccomend a few of the meals. French Fries are homemade, not frozen and very delicious. I don't like the french fries at many other restaurants The Spinach and Swiss Omelette is delicious, one of my favorites The Gyro Dinner with Chicken on a Skewer, rice, fries, greek salad, and a yummy Tzaki sauce I recommend. All meals are very afforadable in comparison to many other places across the city. I appreciate this very much! The restaurant is always busy for the most part, so many seem to enjoy it here. Keep up the good work!“
