“Went on Friday night (July 3rd) and had Maryia as our server. One of my friends was visiting from Texas and we introduced him to his first punch bowl!! The World Cup was on and we loved that our server picked up on the vibe that we didn’t care about sports and she made our night! So happy we chose Jack Astor’s.“

“The perfect atmosphere for a team social. Our waitress, Lexi, was extremely attentive and friendly. I got the chicken tacos (3) with a caesar salad, which came out to just over $30 including tax and tip. The portion sizes were a bit small for the price, but delicious nonetheless.“

“No Runts at the Runt. This is a generally great place with pleasant service and good food. I recently dropped in for a drink with two little dogs. I sat on the patio (which was empty) and the wait staff brought out a bowl of water for the little guys. He did tell me that generally dogs were not permitted on the patio but that if I wanted they could hang out beyond the fence. Because the place was empty, he turned a blind eye to the fascinating rule. After a drink, the manager told the wait staff that I had to put the dogs on the other side of the fence. By then, there was another couple on the patio who were enamoured by the dogs and unbothered. By this time there were only three people on the patio. The waiter was polite, told me the manager insisted on the dogs being placed outside the fence in what was now the Sun and heat. Five stars for the place and the waiter generally. Negative five for the manager who is obviously not a dog owner or lover.“

“We came in from out of town for a reservation in the back room bar area. Joe kools is a fantastic place to reconnect with some friends and family. The vibes were awesome, friendly staff, and food was amazing. Jade was our server for the afternoon and gave us remarkable service our whole visit. She recommended we try the cottage springs on tap, which my wife loved. I can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town and try the deep dish pizzas.“
