“The young lady that served us today was so sweet! Being a new customer it was nice that she didn't have issues explaining what each drink is made of or with. Peach green tea is what I got and I really enjoyed it! Felt for the her tho as the heat wasn't working in the store.“

“Casual restaurant with a huge menu that has something for everyone! They even have a gluten-free/vegetarian section to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. For the menu alone, I would come back as it has all the sushi classics and more. Food was reasonably priced and came out quickly.Echoing other reviews, the service seriously needs to be improved. From my two experiences, the staff were all young adults that cared more about hanging out with each other than offering service. On my more recent visit, the server came quickly at first, but when we were ready to order, he was nowhere to be found. We waited a while until I made eye contact with a different server who was just standing there on her phone. I indicated we were ready to order and thought she would take our order or flag our server, but she just looked back down her phone and ignored me. I actually had to get up to find our server who was at the back hanging out with another person. He wasn't familiar with the menu (maybe he was new), but it made me why wonder why I was tipping. If anything, the kitchen deserved my tip for their work.I frequent Ozen Sushi just down the street and though their staff are also of the same demographic, I've never had anything but excellent service. Plaza Sushi should train their staff better or reconsider their restaurant model. I would have no problem ordering and collecting food for myself as this isn't a high-end restaurant. Tipping a useless server just doesn't feel right.“
“The flavor was amazing. It was sweet, cold, and refreshing. It tasted perfect: brown sugar sweetness and just enough sugar. The tea was just strong enough, and the boba completed the whole thing and brought the flavors together. Overall, one of the best milk teas I’ve ever tasted.“

“I really wish they had a maybe in terms of whether you’d recommend this place. While I find the items I’ve tried to be very good, I find it very expensive. I also strongly wish they had a smaller size you could get. The regular size is quite filling, enough for a meal on its own and far too big for a younger child. Also, I found out today that a gift card can only be activated and used with the use of a smartphone. Not everyone has phones and it’s not safe and secure as now anyone can just punch in my phone number to use the balance on my account. I think that needs to change as the way it’s currently set up makes using a gift card being inaccessible to everyone.“
“My friends and I found The Whale Tea while driving past looking for a shop that sold drinks late at night. A lovely little place with simple elegance. I purchased the mango slush, not expecting a very large and delicious drink in a cute cup topped by an ice cream whale! I’d go back for the same thing, but everything else looked so good, too.
