“The meal was tasty as it almost invariably is. They give value for what has unfortunately become a less than affordable place to dine.
The service fell short of acceptable. Our order was taken and we determined that the 15% early week discount was in effect.
The meal took much longer than is usual to be delivered. When it arrived it WAS hot at least. Something that I find desirable.
That was the last time we saw our server. There was no further interaction until I got up to tell them that we were ready for our bill. I attempted to get her attention, but failed. I went near where the main server traffic passed. That was also not easy as they were nowhere to be found. I asked another server to deliver a message.
The bill was finally delivered without any discount.

“Can’t say enough good things about The Common from great evenings out with friends to a recent private Christmas party held there. The service is friendly and fast, the food and selections are incredible, the atmosphere is so great! Chef/Owner Tim always there to chat. Restaurant manager Cassandre is exceptional. Very highly recommend!“
