The only reason for lack of 5 stars is that it took two friendly reminders to have our kids' drinks (ordered with meal) brought to them.“

“My daughter was visiting from out of town and wanted to take me out for my birthday. The meal was great and the waitress was knowledgeable and very helpful as my daughter has a gluten allergy and had questions. The complimentary dessert was a very nice gesture, and we will be back“

It was very busy that evening and we had to be wait a bit longer than normal for our meals but that was to be expected. The staff were hustling and our server, Hiermona was fabulous. Despite how busy she was and her injury from earlier in the day, she was always smiling and very attentive to our table.“

“We had wonderful service and food at the Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road in Kitchener! We were seated almost immediately. Our professional and friendly server, Betty, stopped by the table within a couple of minutes and took our order. In the past, we have had horrible wait times at the Swiss Chalet on Weber Street (40 minutes or more) so we decided to give Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road a try. Boy, we were amazed and pleasantly surprised. We received our food within ten minutes. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the market vegetables were cooked perfectly. Betty, our server, made the experience at Swiss Chalet all the better by the attentive and professional service that she provided. We will be back to Swiss Chalet, Fairway Road, Kitchener. Thank you, Betty, for your wonderful service! ❤️👍“

“This is our local go to pub. The atmosphere is great and fun as a couple or a group. Their house salad is fantastic, have some vegetarian options as they change. The current masala burger is fantastic. The fries are too salty for my liking but not awful. We have a couple of favourite servers, all are great. Most seem to enjoy their fish and chips. We had a dinner there for 35-40 people in the back room and not one complaint or dish returned. Well done to the entire staff.“

“I love this place have been going for over a year now! Probably more than I should! Was just there today and it seems like they have a new server and she is the best! I love the vibe I love the set up and the food is the best! You cannot go wrong here!“

“Sadly I've noticed with time the quality of the food has started to drop off, cold meals, over cooked, generally just not nice. The atmosphere was generally fine and service was mainly good, bit forgetful and aggressive when trying to order pizza for the kiddo that was over 10, I wasn't looking for cheap prices just the food the kid wanted and got attitude.

In the end it's fast food quality vs a home cooked meal like it used to be and I'm sad it's not as enjoyable as it once was.“

“I went to Swiss Chalet on Highland for dinner with a friend and had a great experience. We were served by an amazing waitress named Jeneyah, and she truly made our visit special. She was very pleasant, gave us plenty of menu options, and was attentive throughout our meal. Our food was taken and delivered in a timely manner—hot, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant environment was clean and welcoming, and overall the service was excellent. I’d rate this visit a 9.5/10 and would definitely return!“

“I came here to work for a couple of hours and found it a great place to do that. The tea I had was inexpensive then I didn’t eat anything else. The servers were great, friendly and welcoming. I will come here again.

Came here again with my partner. She had a coffee and noted that it was very weak, quite disappointing.“
