We dined at The Prune restaurant in the new location on Ontario Street. The interior is beautiful with a classy comfortable and modern vibe. The food presentations and flavours were outstanding and held up to Michelin quality restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Our server Reagan was lovely and by the end of our evening she felt like family, all staff are attentive, professional and engaging. It was the perfect ending to our fall visit to the festival.
The Prune was a delight. From the beginning, the maître d' was able to seat us away from people with strong perfume. Our server, Stacey was fabulous and made some suggestions based on a couple of allergies. The appetizers, Corn Soup and prosciutto and melon were full of flavour. Mains of Halibut and Short Ribs were cooked to perfection and the vegetables, sauces and garnishes worked very well together.For dessert we indulged in the Crème Caramel and Peach Melba. The manager Conor Scully was very helpful in making arrangements for our visit, and although we were only able to visit the restaurant for lunch, he was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere on the patio was charming, and the food was excellent!
