On a recent trip to Stratford several locals recommend The Bluebird restaurant. We made reservations and it was great. The presentation and taste of our meals was exceptional. Definitely would go back on next trip

Get yourself a reservation here to have a very tasty dinner. My friend and I split three “snack” plates and they were enough for dinner. Eggplant dip is out of this world, the shrimp tacos are so delicious and well balanced. Galway fries very yummy too.

Bluebird was the perfect place to catch up with some dear friends. The vibes were relaxed but classy, and the food was incredible. We enjoyed the hot and cold oysters, the lamb chop, the jowls, the chicken mousse, and more! Everything was delicious, the perfect temperature, and the service was great. Don’t be afraid to ask their incredible staff questions - they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience!

A wonderful, delicious dinner for our group of 8! The menu has something for everyone without being overwhelming. Our entrees were all perfectly cooked. And if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic drink, I highly recommend the ‘Bluebird No G & T’!
Very accommodating! I didn’t like the look of what I ordered. They replaced it with an alternate order promptly. Really great food. So popular it is a bit noisy.
Parking: Two pay lots quite close. Stratford really busy before play time.

A really cute and tasty spot in Stratford, Ontario. Hit it up while visiting the area and we enjoyed most of what we ordered. The only knock would have been the steak which was merely ok, but again this place isn't a steakhouse so I guess it gets a pass.
We really enioyed the chilled pea soup, the chicken liver mousse and the croquettes. The beet salad was good and so were the fries that came with the steak. Would try again if we were in the area. A good 8.1 for lunch. #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot

We loved our late night dinner here. The atmosphere is lovely and the service enhanced our experience. The setting while small was just the right feel of cozy. We loved the pork jowls and the perch. The coconut margarita was yummy and inventive. Lastly, we finished the meal with the peach tart with black pepper ice cream. The ice cream really stood out. Overall, the Bluebird is a place for a great meal in a town of many great restaurants, but the Bluebird really stands out for exceptional care and love in every aspect of the experience. We will be back.

Came here for dinner after watching a show at the Stratford Festival and had a really lovely meal. We ordered the yellow perch cha ca la vong, lamb chops, scallops, sticky toffee pudding, passion fruit crème brûlée and a brewed ice tea. Everything was very delicious with lots of interesting flavours in each dish. Service was attentive and the restaurant had a comfortable dining atmosphere. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
Something I would definitely suggest is making a reservation to ensure your table. We were seated next to the door during our visit. This restaurant was so popular that every single walk-in was turned away because they were entirely booked up.
