Food was mediocre at best. Service well, you’re going to wait a while. I sent the chili back as it wasn’t good. Didn’t even taste like chili. After that, the server didn’t come back to offer more coffee, didn’t bring the bill, no offer of dessert. We waited a long time and when we realized nobody was going fo come back to our table, we went to the bar to get our bill. The chili was still on the bill. My husband mentioned that I hadn’t eaten the chili and had sent it back. The guy behind the bar looked at the bill and seemed confused, my husband repeated that I had sent it back. He still didn’t seem to either hear or understand. I repeated I did not eat the chili. The guy behind the bar said, what you didn’t get the chili? Then I said, no, the chili wasn’t good so I sent it back. My voice was a bit louder because apparently he was not able to hear clearly what my husband and I had said three times already. The guy behind the bar responded in a nasty tone, “relax, we’re not doing brain surgery here”. I was completely shocked that this employee felt he had the right to speak so completely rudely. This was a first for me. - I responded “Excuse me? Wow that was rude.” To which he responded, I could say the same thing to you.Wow. Professionalism and politeness has certainly taken a nose dive. I would rather eat from a pig’s trough than step foot inside that disgrace of an eating establishment again.

We ordered 2 pounds of wings and 1 Boar Burger for two people. Was very pleased with the wings portion and flavour. They claim to be "Biggest Wings in Perth County" which is likely true (although not every wing has the same size, some are smaller than the others). The Boar Burger was pretty good too, but not as memorable as the wings. I was afraid given it was off-peak hours, the food would not be made fresh, but the wings came out hot and crispy.Overall, I was quite satisfied with the food. However, service was not as attentive. I asked for water and the waitress did not deliver until I ordered some beer. The wait for food was also longer than I thought. I would come here after a show, not before, just in case.

Great place for groups or a date. Went with the wife had the jalapeno poppers for the Stratford Bacon and ale trail. Definitely stop here if your on the trail. Lots of great beer and fantastic food options. Cosy atmosphere.

My son the vegetarian ordered some pizza rolls appetizers. The menu did not indicate there was any meat but there was pepperoni. He noticed after eating one and was disappointed but not upset. We let the waitress know and got a replacement item, assuming we wouldn't have to pay for the pizza rolls. The staff was very concerned and ended up paying for the meals and drinks. Couldn't be more impressed and will continue to be a regular customer when I'm visiting the town!

Terrible meal.
Disappointed. I ordered a vegetable medley on rice. Got a plate full of what were clearly thawed frozen oriental style vegetables on rice. Looked and tasted micro waved. Same sort of frozen veg you’d get at a grocery store. The meal tasted OK but frozen veg? Really? How hard is it to stir fry a few vegetables? Better not to have this vegetarian meal on the menu than serve this farce.
No I didn’t complain. I got more and more annoyed as I thought about it later. Annoyed enough to post a review.

We love it here and have experienced a range of service. Brie is amazing ? She is extremely sociable and attentive and works above and beyond each time we are lucky to have her as our waitress. We’ve also had some terribly passive aggressive service. It’s truly hit or miss.
