Cute little spot to meet for breakfast or lunch. I’ve been here twice now & have not been disappointed either times. They have great prices for their big portions. The atmosphere is very relaxed & casual. The waitress is friendly & gives great customer service.

Disappointing to read on the website that there are celiac options, only to be told when we arrived that they don’t recommend us eating there due to the extremely high risk of cross contamination. Understand that the risk is common, but then why advertise it on your website using the term “celiac-friendly”?

Brenda's is a hidden treasure in Stratford. The newest owner, Brian (a Newfoundlander) promotes the maritime hospitality of home and community. Table cloths and decorations to match the seasons and celebrations, a (dine in/take out) menu that consists of delicious homemade food, which are reasonably priced and made with love. The huge homemade bakery items speak for themselves...and they scream YUM. The staff, esp. Julie, is always eager to please and keeps the coffee pouring with a smile and a great attitude. Many return customers attend on a consistent basis, meeting up for breakfast or lunch with friends and leaving with a smile of satisfaction. Brian has transformed this wee hub of greatness with hard work and dedication and deserves an applause. See ya next week....Dee

A great lunch spot with friendly staff and generous owners. Everything was fresh, and much of it was local. We were so full from the delicious eggs Benedict and club sandwich that we had to take our butter tarts to go. Can't wait to try them!
