Fabulous food .Mushroom tarte and Pickeral fish for the main were delicious. Have the lemon tart for dessert. What was exceptional was the quiet, elegant decor and the excellent service. The tables were not too close to each other. You will need a reservation at night. I'm a foodie and so you will be as you wonder, "what's in the sauce?"

While Carly, who was our final wait staff was wonderful, and the food was delicious (many compliments to the chef), the experience was awful with our first wait staff, Stevie. He was rude from the first statement of "What water do you want?" up to and including where I was trying to fix our wobbly table and he demanded I get up from the floor where I was crouched. After that we got dirty looks from both him and the front of the house manager until we were done. We watched many tables around us be treated to smiles and jovial conversation but not us. Carly was the only one who was pleasant and kind. So the two stars are for Carly and the chef.

The rude waiter looked positively shocked and rolled his eyes when I asked for medium eggs. “ We crisp them here!” says he. Perhaps he thinks he is in Paris, and service and / or food preparation is irrelevant?? The owner/ manager paced throughout the meal. The food is mediocre and the service is arrogant. Go elsewhere!

The food and the decor are fabulously French. Despite a hectic pre theatre crowd, the service was good. Especially Carly, who upon hearing more coins were needed for our parking meter, happily gave us some of her coins.

This is a beautiful French-inspired restaurant in the heart of Stratford to visit for dinner. We had the 3 course set menu and loved every dish. They have lots of vegetarian options as well which is great. If you do the wine pairing the staff are very knowledgeable with which wines to match with your food. We'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful and wonderful restaurant! We were so lucky to have lunch here twice. We had great service from our waiter, who was quite a character, and we really enjoyed his service and his advice on where to go in the area. We had the salad Lyonnaise, fennel salad, morning bun, croque monsieur, macaroon, and London fog. Everything was amazing. I don’t know how you couldn’t have a great time here and enjoy a wonderful pastry and food and great service and great ambience.

A disappointing dining experience. We came here for a pre-theatre lunch, right after driving from Toronto. We had trouble finding the restaurant as the name is written in a smaller font under the pizzeria name, which occupies the basement of the same building. During the meal, we found that the portions of our mains were really small given the price (you could find a much better value at similar brunch restaurants even in Toronto). I ordered a salmon crepe, and I would have been barely half-full if not for the fries as a side (which cost $8 extra!). The combination of flavours was also strange. The salmon crepe was salty, which was expected, but it came with sour sauce inside the crepe, a salty/sour topping, as well as a sour-ish sauce for the fries! There was no balance of flavours at all, and it just seemed like the chef wanted the dish to be as sour/salty as possible. I had to ask for ketchup to make up for it. Talking about asking for ketchup, it took me a while to flag down a server to ask to it…In general, the service was poor. We never had any water refills during the meal, nor did anyone come to ask how our meal was. When the server brought out the mains for my two friends, she looked confused without saying anything or telling us what the dishes were, and we had to almost direct her on what to do… Overall, the restaurant has poor value, which is a pity given its beautiful interior, and I would not recommend it.

Fantastic restaurant. Chef is outstanding and consistent with traditional French cuisine at its finest level. Decor is beautiful and very reminiscent of a fine cafe in Paris. Servers are the best we've seen, very knowledgeable and amazing people.Music selection can be extremely lame at times... house type music or South American just doesn't work in a french style restaurant. You can't be two things at once. Lastly the striped shirts and jeans do not fit a top shelf french restaurant. Jeans are for pubs ONLY pubs..striped shirts are for mimes and clowns not a classy french restaurant where two can easily spend 300$ on dinner. Overall a great place however its needs to add some class to match the theme. Go for the food and service its 5 star all the way. Im sure the rest of my concerns will follow...Jeans, striped shirts and lamé music choices are all minor compared to the good no...great points.

The restaurant is very cute inside; well decorated and suits Stratford. We had a great waiter. Bit of an attitude until you got to know him and then he was awesome. We went for crepes and they were very good. I had the Ham and Cheese and my friend has the Mushroom. However, they were so unbelievably small. 4 bites and gone. That was hugely expensive at $16. Add a side of salad $8. So while it was tasty, it was outrageously overpriced. I was still hungry.

Came here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and had such a wonderful experience. The wine was lovely, the cocktails were lovely, and the food was unbelievably fantastic. I've been here multiple times and every single time the food had been perfect. Definitely recommend the duck and the mushroom en croute. It has such a beautiful interior as well, a really nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy dinner in. I wish I got our server's name so I could mention her in the review, she was absolutely lovely, a young woman who served us on July 7th in the evening. She really went above and beyond to make our experience great!!!

Amazing food. Unique flavors. We stopped in for Saturday brunch. I had the Basque omelette with potato and lemon. Highly recommend!

Our lunch was a real mixed bag. The pros: the crepes were delicious. The ambiance was charming. The London Fog tea was excellent. The hostess was so welcoming and a complete delight. The cons: the crepe sizes were smaller than hoped for. (To be clear: they weren't unreasonably small. Just not quite what hungry 15& 20year olds were ready to tuck into. The croque Monsieur and frites were much more substantial) Most notably, the waiter seemed exasperated. (Maybe it was us? ‍ I did ask for oat milk and some advice choosing between two dishes.) I would return but hope for a different wait staff member.

Really nice brunch options. Service was really great. Kitchen accommodated dietary needs without issue. Poached eggs are crispy! To be honest, I loved the food but the crispy poached eggs might be too much for some looking for lighter fair.
