No idea where the low score came from! The service was amazing: we ordered a mocha, a cookie and a butter tart. The barista brought it to us, to the table after sharing some recommendations. The mocha was AMAZING! and so were the baking goods. The place is big and very Stratford like (old architect and beautiful space). Honestly, will go back! Happy I gave it a shot

I was overcharged for my coffee and the cafe was very understaffed. The lineup was so long and it took 20m to get our coffee. The only reason why my friend and I came here was because Balzac’s was too full. There were also two drunk men swearing profusely at a table near the door and no staff did anything about it. There were multiple children and young families there who had to hear the horrible drunken rants of these men. I will definitely not be returning here.

Food was okay at best. Coffee was weak and latte was blah. The water we asked for came in a dirty mug and the place needs a deep clean. Door was disgusting and it was only 9:30 in the morning

ANOTHER UPDATE 27.9.2023. STILL SILENCE FROM THE COMPANY AFTER THEY ASKED ME TO EMAIL THEM. We went for coffee and a snack last Sunday. Staff was untrained and didn't understand our questions. Finally boss came out of his office (not very friendly) and explained staff was new. After a lot of back and forth we finally got 1 BLT bagel, 1 muffin and 2 coffees. Total $ 19.17. I was so frustrated that I paid only to realize later that I was completely overcharged. You have 2 staff members who don't know what they are doing, while sitting in your office. The staff should have been busy clearing and cleaning some tables since dishes were sitting there for the 45 minutes we were in the store. We were the only 2 sit down guests during the whole time and there was plenty of time to tidy things up. Burned out bulbs, flickering neon lights, patched up ceiling. No wonder nobody else was there.UPDATED : CC asked me to contact them once they saw my message. I did. Twice. Now they ignore me . I guess the idea that "out in public" they want to look as if they care. Apparently they don't.

Had coffee and pastries...then decided to have sandwiches made to enjoy by the Festival Theatre. The food was great.
