We just love it here. Take our kids to the patio all summer, and we always feel welcome there. The cocktails and amazing and whenever we have guests we order tacos in to show off the culinary treats we have here locally in Stratford. The staff is always delightful, and their recommendations are always a success. We live locally but this is a must stop for all of our loved ones when they visit!Vegetarian options: Tons of veg options! El Hippie is my favourite veggie meat I've ever had!Kid-friendliness: Our kids love the patio and they are quick and willing to make accomodations (my kids always want extra tomatoes with their sikil pak.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wide ramp on the side of the building and they take orders from the window. The patio isn't too crowded and even a larger chair or stroller can maneuver well. No stairs to the bathroom.

In our relentless search for good Mexican food, we happened upon this place. What a great find. It checks all the boxes. Location, great food, great atmosphere. We had a chance to chat with the owner as well and we can see why this place is so amazing. The restaurant opened during the early stages of Covid and the restaurant won. Happy for the success and we will definitely be back. Also, if you haven't been to Stratton, it's worth the trip. We had one of each taco, a quesadilla and a chip and dip appetizer. We couldn't choose a favorite as they were all phenomenal.

This is a cute little restaurant located in downtown Stratford! I visited with a group of friends and ordered 2 chicken tacos. I personally was not a fan of the tacos and felt that they were lacking some flavour and felt that they would be better served with more flavourful onions.

One of the best tacos I have ever had! Wow!! El Hippie is special. The meat is made from walnuts and is very flavorful. I'm not even a vegetarian and this blew my mind. I still dream about this taco. Tamarind juice was lovely and excellent margaritas. The outdoor patio was wonderful! Inside is small and gets really crowded as you wait to order. This is a popular place so be prepared to wait. It's definitely worth the wait. Very friendly service. Colorful and fun decor.

We tried this place for the first time today. We ordered the El remix that has pork chroizo and el gringo which is chicken. 10 to 15 minutes after ordering, we were informed that they didn’t have chorizo. That would have been nice to know at the beginning. We ended up just getting all chicken. So the el gringo was a decent taco. The tortillas were good quality corn tortillas. The chicken was good and not dry, it just got a little lost under all the iceberg lettuce. The lime crema was good, but needed more lime and more sauce as there was so much lettuce. The spice had a bit of a slow burn as you ate more. All in all, a good taco, but not a great taco. I would have preferred the chorizo, I’m sure. It’s a quaint place, but notMuch seating. It was quite a wait for 4 tacos. Generally, street food is fast and packs a punch of flavour. Tacos should be able to be assembled quickly with proper organization. I’m not sure if we will go back.

Some of the best tacos I have ever eaten and very generous portions! The chips and guacamole is delicious and they take such care in their food sourcing and menu creation- they even use meat from a local farm that raises pasture fed pork and grass fed beef! Incredible! Alondra, the owner, and her staff are very warm and welcoming this spot is a MUST visit when you're in Stratford!

We decided to try this place on our visit to Stratford based on it's great reviews. The shop itself had a great aesthetic and it was fun to watch the cooks at work. They were fairly disorganized, though to their credit, they had alot of customers waiting and were training new staff simultaneously. The set up of how you order food wasn't very efficient, as you had to order and pay for your food at the counter, but the main dine-in area was outside on a patio around the corner that was self-seating. When we were there, there was a high likelihood that you wouldn't actually have a table or seat to eat the food when you received it, even though they would bring you your food if you managed to get a table outside. The flavour of my burrito was great overall, though the rice was undercooked and 'crunchy'. The tacos were flavourful, though not very substantial. With our 30 minute wait for takeout, I wouldn't really consider our food worth the price. I'd love to try this establishment again when they're less busy as I don't think this first visit was when they were at their best.

My friends and I were very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. We arrived about 15 minutes after opening and were told to come back 30 minutes later because the staff wasn't in yet. When we came back, we had to wait almost another half hour for our food. Yhe people prepaing the food did not have anything to cover their hair and no one was wearing gloves when handling the food. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
