Great dining experience. We spoke with the chef and he told us how he acquires fresh ingredients from farmers in the area and then determines what will be on the menu for the night. For our September 5 dining experience, several ingredients from his wife’s garden. We enjoyed their beautiful roasted cherry tomatoes with ricotta. Also loved the scallops. Highly recommend Elizabeth.
We went to Elizabeth last night for the first time. Every dish we tried was exceptional - cooked to perfection, bursting with succulent flavours and beautifully presented; easily some of the best we've ever had.
This has been one of my favorite places for dinner in Stratford, but tonight's experience was very disappointing from the entree to the server who rushed the meal and offered no compensation for a the meal that went uneaten.
I have enjoyed everything about Elizabeth's in the past couple of years, maybe this was just an off night.
