We decided to drive from Mitchell to try this out after reading the good reviews. We were not disappointed. I got the platter with fish, scallops and home made fries. My partner got the halibut with shrimp and home made fries. We also ordered a side of coleslaw and each got a can of pop. Everything was very good and the owner was very nice. We finished up about a half hour before they were going to close and I think the owner was cleaning up in the back. So I called to him and he came out and we paid for our meals. I like how the owner gave us bottles of ketchup, shrimp sauce and tartar sauce so we didn't have to ask for extra.

Been here several times and never disappointed. I like the cod - great flavour and always well cooked. Coleslaw is great. Highly recommend this place.
I don’t eat it but my family says the tartar sauce isn’t to their taste but everything else is amazing!
Food was over done, greasy and fairly tasteless. Shop smelled pretty gross, washroom was very dirty. Would not recommend.

Ordered to go from such a nice gentleman. I didn't know whether to get a 1 piece or a 2 piece and he said get the 1. Instead of trying to talk me into purchasing more than I needed like some places would. Halibut was perfect, not greasy at all. Nice chips and the creamy coleslaw had just the tight amount of vinegar for tang. I'll be back soon!
