Ordered to go from such a nice gentleman. I didn't know whether to get a 1 piece or a 2 piece and he said get the 1. Instead of trying to talk me into purchasing more than I needed like some places would. Halibut was perfect, not greasy at all. Nice chips and the creamy coleslaw had just the tight amount of vinegar for tang. I'll be back soon!

Normally, I would have given 4 or 5 stars but after today I am not impressed and disappointed. We have ordered from here often...fish, chicken, fries, battered mushrooms and onion rings and always enjoyed but today the chicken fingers were NOT the usual breast meat strips, it was frozen formed chicken crap. Yes, you gave us more than 4 strips but I couldn't eat any of that!! So I paid over $50 for fries, sweet potato fries and battered mushrooms. Sorry, but you've lost my business and I will no longer recommend on social media when asked where's the best fish and chips.

Visiting from out of town, we decided to give Fish Time a try. While the restaurant is simple and unassuming, it also feels like a wonderful family-friendly place. Most importantly for me, the food was fantastic. The haddock and chips (only $12.19) was excellent, as were the onion rings and coleslaw we ordered extra. The highlight for me was that the batter is light, the meal was flavourful, and both of us felt great afterwards (sometimes I feel gross after eating fried food). They were also attentive with excellent service. Clearly, they're doing something right at this restaurant. Bravo to Fish Time - we'll be back when we're in Stratford again.

The absolute genius of putting vinegar in a spray bottle.... changed my life.
Friendly, clean, fast and fresh. We had two lunch specials and it was great. Fresh and tasty, for when you want classic fish and chips.

I just had the best fish and chips in Stratford. I walked from home (4big blocks) and when I returned home my meal was still nice and hot. Unlike the other place in town where my meal is cold when I get home. I strongly recommend Fish Time Fish&Chips.

I believe you can get the best fried fish in South Ontario here. The most important thing for fried food is the quality of the oil. Many places use filtered oil to save costs, and if you eat fried food often, you can immediately feel it. I often come to this restaurant, and I can clearly feel that they don't use filtered oil, and the texture and quality of food fried in fresh oil are definitely different.
