I just had the best fish and chips in Stratford. I walked from home (4big blocks) and when I returned home my meal was still nice and hot. Unlike the other place in town where my meal is cold when I get home. I strongly recommend Fish Time Fish&Chips.

I believe you can get the best fried fish in South Ontario here. The most important thing for fried food is the quality of the oil. Many places use filtered oil to save costs, and if you eat fried food often, you can immediately feel it. I often come to this restaurant, and I can clearly feel that they don't use filtered oil, and the texture and quality of food fried in fresh oil are definitely different.

I had takeout from here and had fish and chips with battered mushrooms. Generous piece of fish, fries were crispy, coleslaw was creamy , mushrooms were good. Price was comparable. I recommend Fish Time F&C.

Owner is an absolute gem and asset to Stratford. Always welcoming and for the price, you cannot beat the value you’re getting.

I’ve picked up and gotten delivery. Delivery they forgot some of my order and couldn't refund me…won’t go here again. Better places in town.

Classic fish & chips of properly cooked flaky Haddock in light batter and crisp fries. Quick and friendly service in this small homey joint, but have to dock a star overall for paper plates, plastic cutlery, and single serve condiments.

Absolutely Delicious! Perfectly crisp and flavorful fish & chips (the lunch special of 2 pieces of pollack and chips for $10 is a good bargain, and easily shareable). Get your food to go and eat in Market Square across the street while people watching or listening to a musical performance.

$16.99 for halibut and chips is very reasonable considering what some places in Toronto charge. Fries were very tasty, but most importantly, the fish was cooked in a light, crispy batter. The place was busier than I expected at 3:30pm, yet the lady at the counter working along handled everyone with little stress and lots of kindess.

Like most of the negative reviews say, the food isn’t all that bad. It is the price to portion ratio that is ridiculous. $30 for one piece of fish and a handful of French fries is a but
