The food here is incredible and tastes to authentic, the staff were very nice and kind about recommending dishes since we had never been there before. Such an enjoyable meal during the summer and I would recommend the udon.

Really don't understand the hype. It's fine for Stratford since there is no where else to get ramen here. But $25 for a tiny bowl of ramen with barely and veggies in it was down right disappointing The Miso broth was unbalanced and just not that great unfortunately.

I usually get takeout from here but this time we decided to sit down inside and have a late lunch. To start off, the staff here are very kind and helpful. They gave me great recommendations and now I have new favourites. The food here is very good, the owner had Hamachi and blue fun tune sashimi available, and it was just like when I had it in Japan, they even had the Highball drink, a Japanese staple for izakayas. The atmosphere was great with the true Japanese employees, it was just a little tight. Over all a great spot for Japanese food, will be my go to if I'm craving japanese cuisine in Stratford.

Small, cozy space with delicious food and friendly service! They were very accommodating and patient with our group of 10 that dined in. The Ninja Star bowl was delicious and very filling- loved the crispy tempura shrimp and smoked salmon paired with the ninja sauce!

First of all, the price range should be 20-30 instead of $10-20. Food was ok, not worth the price. I ordered tempura shrimp and salmon rice. $17 for little veggies and two tempura and small salmon cubes. Ramen is also $17, it's literally a 5 years old girl portion. $30 for 24 piece roll. Mostly is cucumber and rice with mayo toppings.... Lastly the dinning place only got three tables.(That's fine) But the ventilation is bad. Not worth the money at all

Food simply outstanding - by far the best meal I've had in Stratford - deserving of a Michelin star. The Ninja Bowls are full of umami flavours, packed with fresh and well-portioned ingredients, a true culinary delight. It's essentially a one-woman show (with an all-purpose sidekick Ninja helping along) in the kitchen, so allow yourself 90+ minutes before catching a matinee or evening performance at the theatre, as menu items are made from scratch and some take longer to prepare. (Note also the dining area is small, with just a few tables, and enough seating for about 10 people.)
