Hello So tonight, at the BRU garden I was denied a family fries order. However, I was able to order 2 large fries, which should equal a family but cost more. This doesn't make sense to me.
Best fries! I told a chip truck in Peterborough their fries better be as good as Ken’s in Stratford and even they had heard about Ken’s.Ken’s has them beat.

Once we got to Stratford our visit started with a stop for French fries, as is the Murray tradition, before any of the plays they go to see at the Stratford Festival ... cool back story on the fry truck it has been in Stratford serving it's delicious fries since 1953 ... next year will be their 70th anniversary!!! The fries wete truly DELICIOUS!!! Hot, crispy & the perfect golden brown, salted just right. The perfect pre-theater snack to tie us over.
Best French fries, been around since 1953
On our way back from North we stopped by at the nearby Tim’s, instead of buying fries for our meal, we stood in the line at this food for just French Fries. For the five of us in the vehicle, we bought a family size French Fries. The fries super fresh as they cut fries manually through the press right there and they are prepared for you. You couldn’t get fresher than these. The fries crispy and smooth inside. The kids had the Ailoli which they raved about. I had to do with ketchup. The family size is huge. We couldn’t finish even half of it.Definitely stopping by again if I am nearby.
Was looking forward to visit new restaurant because grew up with Ken’s fries. Overall experience was great. Atmosphere very relaxing friendly staff, fast service. I had ribs dinner. Ribs were very tasty cooked well and enjoyed the coleslaw. Was surprised at the fries. Tasted like oil needed changing and were on dark side. First time like this since new take over. Love the recycle containers. Would gladly try again. Great selection for everyone.

I don't like to give bad reviews. Too many people complain and never thank. I try not to do that. But... I've been looking forward to their Smash Burger for almost a week after being told about it by a coworker. But, their hours suck and I kept missing the truck. It's like 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, right? Tonight, we bought two Smash Burgers with bacon and cheese along with a nacho poutine to split. $39! It cost $39! Are they working to pay down the national debt. No drinks, just the food, $39. The burgers were okay. Maybe I built them up too much, or maybe I was turned off by the price. And, I swear that mine wasn't cooked. Maybe it's just me, but it looked a little (lottle) pink. The poutine was good, because their fries are awesome. It's hard to go wrong there. I've always enjoyed Ken's fries. Overall, it was very disappointing and we can't really afford to go back again any time soon. I'm really hoping that I caught them on a bad day, although even that doesn't explain the price. I am willing to give then another try...when I save up a little ;)
Kens French Fries does it again! I return time and time again and always have an amazing experience. Friendly staff, tasty crunchy fries, and all done in a timely manner. I will be back.
When Ken's still had a wagon in the centre of town, getting an order of fries was an essential part of visiting Stratford. Now that the wagon is in the Canadian Tire parking lot, along the highway to Kitchener, getting fries is a bit more difficult. We had to get some stuff at Canadian Tire today, however, and did not pass up the opportunity to get fries, which our son considers to be the best he's ever had anywhere. Me, I remember a couple of places in Belgium where the fries were at least as good, but Ken's is right up there. And during the pandemic it presents no problems: since there's nowhere to sit down, you don't need to worry about tables etc.
