Food was ok. Nothing special. Service was bad. Food literally dropped on the table. Paid $6.50 for 12 oz of coffee with grinds in it, no refills. We won't return.

Use to go here often when I lived in Stratford and I always enjoyed it. My most recent experience 2 weeks ago wasn't so great. Our waitress had to keep asking if we were the ones who ordered (insert part of our order here) and $3.25 for coffee that we never got offered a refill on seemed a bit steep for coffee. The person in the kitchen (maybe the cook?) was actually more helpful and attentive than the waitress. Wish I remembered her name. But the food was good, as always!

Extremely disappointed in our breakfast today. Potatoes were hard as a rock. Very dried out. Flavours of meat were excellent. Sat down and after we got our meal (which was reasonably quick) never checked on us again till we waved them down. Cook was eating at grill. Compared to past visits this was not good

Great diner with friendly service and decent food. A bit on the expensive side. I prefer my home fries on the grill with onions, their's are of the deep fried variety.

Had their Yungblut's Famers Sausage breakfast, excellent. Was in-and-out of the place in half an hour with no rush. I did NOT succumb to thier tempting (and famous) butter tarts, even though their breakfast menu CLEARLY STATED it was okay to have one for breakfast. So seldom am I in Stratford mornings, however, I always make it a point to visit this place.

I got the Beef Melt. It was delicious as could be, meat was not dry, the bread was buttery toasted, and the cheese was warm and stringy as cheese usually is, my Girlfriend had gotten the fish and chips, I had to take a bite of it too! Flaky warm fish with light fried batter, so good. And the blueberry pie was beautiful, not to sweet and the patty wasn’t crumbly or undercooked, well done!

We had already eaten breakfast, but had to stop for buttertarts. Among the best I have had. Well worth the stop. i hear they serve food too.

Entry points to the restaurant are a little confusing but our takeout turkey club sandwich was delicious! Staff are friendly and eager to assist. In addition to their menu selections, they have takeout butter tarts which appear to be a hit with the locals. Restaurant was quite busy for late lunch. Dining room, and patio available. Casual atmosphere. Free parking on site.

As annual visitors to Stratford, we always try to get to Madelyn's diner. My BLT on rye was delicious, and my husband's eggs, bacon and French toast disappeared pretty fast! Oddly my fries were lightly fried and his home fries were quite dark, though we were both ok with that. Coffee was very good and bottomless. Decor is authentic diner style, and the staff was super welcoming. Brought home bacon butter tarts that I am saving for tomorrow. They may not make it! We highly recommend the Madelyn experience!

Arrived about 6pm to a friendly greeting. Seated right away, with the option of patio or dine in. Food was fresh and a generous portion, turkey club. Great experience!

AMAZING dining experience! Went here a while ago and got breakfast. Coffee is good and their omelettes are even better. It could just be my taste but I love it personally. And the staff acts like a family. Its comfortable there

They are absolutely incredible. There was a minor issue with my food and the management went above and beyond my resolution expectations. The food is delicious, staff is amazing. Only suggestion I'd make is to get A/C in there cuz its really hot in there during a heatwave.
