Friendly and fun. We had a great evening and a great meal. I would highly recommend the place. Super service from Ryan who went out of his way to be so helpful.

We appreciated that there were a lot of options available for various diets (dairy-free, gluten-free, etc). However, we wish that there had been some indication of the level of heat each dish had. Half of our table of ten was unable to finish their meals due to the unexpected spice level (most of whom regularly consume curries and like dishes).

Didn't have a room. Just stopped for pre theatre dinner. Very satisfying Korean BBQ bowl.

Three of us reserved a table at Mercer for 12.15pm to have a lunch before enjoying The Winter Tale at Tom Paterson theater. The food was a very disappointing experience. It is unfortunate we were limited with time and could not leave as soon as realized the menu included just few items, and most of them were not suitable for us. It was almost no choice. This information is not on the website, surprisingly.
We had to offer Coconut curry soup for each of us (very spicy, but this was not mentioned on menu), one peanut crunch salad to share (the only delicious, loved it), 2 Eggs Benedict (2 eggs, not tasty, potato on side was definitely not home-made), and dumplings for me (never again). Paid $140 for 3 of us, which is very expensive for the later stomach pain and bad feelings.

The food was good. They had a whole allergy binder that covered gluten options and a ton of other allergies/interolenices.

Server was great. Vibe was nice. Kid’s steam bun buger was a hit. However, the buttermilk chicken sandwich tasted very strongly of fish, which I don’t like. I thought I was given the fish burger by accident. Could barely eat it for that reason. Caesar salad flavour was good, but over dressed so lettuce was soggy. Beer/taps menu was impressive.

I loved all the small plate options and shared a bunch with my friend. I highly recommend the Karaage fried chicken and the pierogis. It has a fab vibe and the loveliest staff! Also a must stop on the Bacon & Ale trail!

Atmosphere and service was great. Miso soup was good but unfortunately the Mercer pierogis had not even a hint of flavour. It tasted like unsalted, plain potato. Even with the greens and onion toppings, there was absolutely no flavour. The chicken sandwich was okay but the inside of the chicken was mushy and felt undercooked, and had no flavour either. I’m really disappointed since the reviews were good and it was very busy. I won’t be returning.

Mercer Kitchen has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, which was a great start to the evening.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the service. We ordered pierogies that lacked flavor and were difficult to finish. The chicken sandwich was even more disappointing—the chicken was borderline undercooked, rubbery, and had almost no taste. It was tough to get through the meal.

The drinks, however, were much better and definitely the highlight of the experience, but sadly, they weren’t enough to make up for the poor food quality.

If the food were improved, the prices would be more justifiable. While it’s a nice spot for drinks and hanging out, I wouldn’t recommend it for dining.

Absolutely a wonderful meal, and our server was as good as you can get.

We had karage, seared tuna and several other items. I apologize for the lack of images, I saw the food and went for it.

Fun atmosphere and just a generally great vibe. If you’re in Stratford DeFi itely hit it.

Came here for lunch and we’re soooooo impressed! Awesome vibe and great great food. Highly recommend!
