The hosts acted like they didn't know about my reservation through OpenTable. So they were a little flustered but managed to get us a table fairly quickly. They were very busy as it usually is for a Saturday. Last weekend we ended up going somewhere else because we didn't have a reservation and there was a 30 minute wait. This tells me they need to hire more cooks/waiters for the weekend. Also, it's hit or miss if we get small plates to go with our 4 cheese spinach dip appetizer. Also, last night our appetizer looked like it was hastily put together and didn't have very many pita wedges and tortilla chips. And, it's hit and miss if they give me wet napkins with my rib & wing combo. Last night I had to ask for them. It was very busy and noisy last night but that was to be expected with a Leafs hockey game on. I still think their food is some of the best in stratford. They have the best ribs and brisket. Their Pitmaster's Combo is absolutely awesome! And I was very thankfully that the manager ran out to the parking lot and handed me my glasses that I forgot at the table!

We had a good dinner with an attentive server and manager. Our server seemed to be overwhelmed with a large section of tables and was not able to take care of us by herself - not her fault. We were happy to see the management step into the gap. The portion size for the spinach dip and chicken burrito bowl were smaller than the previous times we were there - perhaps portion sizes have decreased again as prices stay the same or rise.

Melissa was awesome. Run off her feet with no help, but on top of everyone’s needs. Manager (?) around, but not really helping. Washrooms could use some attention.
Food was hot and good, person who dropped food (not Melissa, she was on it as soon as she saw we had food) didn’t look to see if we needed anything (condiments).

Food was cold. One order after 10 minutes we were told was not available. Ordered something else and was charged for first meal that was higher in price. Told as meal was ready no mashed for our meal but could give us French fries. Hence why the meal was cold. Brought out mashed after 10 minutes it was instant mashed potatoes. All in all not a good meal.

Jaz was fantastic from the minute we walked in the door. She was considerate to turn off the light above the booth. She then promptly gave us the Happy Hour menu and was prompt with taking our order, bringing our drinks and responsive to all our needs throughout our whole dining experience.

Absolutely terrible service and cold food. Saw our waitress to order and then not again until it was time to pay. Had to find another waitress to provide plates and napkins for the appetizers and then when our meal arrived via kitchen staff, we had to find another wait staff for cutlery. The waitress had the nerve to ask when we were paying how everything was. Won't be returning

The service was absolutely horrible. They were short staffed (which is not a problem) but there was no communication. We waited 30 minutes to get our drinks, was not checked on once. Finally got our food after an hour, with again never being checked on. Then when something was said the server was very defensive and did not offer an apology, they raised their voice involving other customers. When trying to voice our concerns they were not heard and instead responded with excuses and rudeness. It was my sisters birthday and it was absolutely ruined. I do not recommend coming here especially the server Karley.

We went to Montana’s and waited 15 minutes to find a server they never came back and then I was trying to pay for my extra drink that I bought and I had to go out and find a manager. They were all just talking horrible service great food.

All our meals came cold. We would have sent them back but our waitress didn't return for a half hour to check on us. Very disappointed. Won't be returning

We made reservation “outdoor sitting” week in advance. which was confirmed with email and text message. We were really looking forward to eat outside, after 2.5h in dark theatre. Upon arrival we were informed that three was NO outdoor sitting available for us. We were put in a very uncomfortable booth for 4, and felt very crowded and uncomfortable as we were 6. We didn't want to complain and possibly wait longer, as we were tired and hungry, but won't be returning to Montana at any location any time soon.
Good as usual.... I did receive my food on a plate with two chips. Shame on the chef for not paying attention to detail. Chipped plates can harbor bacteria and may not be as aesthetically pleasing.

I had reservations here for 6, we ended up with an extra person so 7 in all. The young woman at the front sitting everyone was very rude and said they were very busy and could not seat us. The waitress showed us where we would sit for six. It was a booth and we could not even sit 6 of us! I was shocked and confused because I made the reservation a week earlier. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else. I will not make reservations at this location again. We will go somewhere else next time we are in Stratford! The waitress was very nice and said she was sorry but the girl at the front should not be in customer service! I would never treat anyone that way! I go to Montana's all the time but I will never step foot in the Stratford location again. We have a retreat in Stratford twice a year so they lost our business.

The food was wonderful and we were looked after by a staff member who was helpful, pleasant and extremely well organized in all aspects of service. We will go to Montanas again.

Food was good, our server was excellent. She identified choices for us that were great. Steak was excellent, baked potatoes and shrimp too. Must have been the smallest lobster tail on the planet. Gf had a good meal, overall the food was pretty good. Price is approaching the Keg. This is not the Keg. Value wisenif we didn't have a coupon.. Just can't justify $100 plus tip to eat at Montanas. For $70 it would have been awesome... and bare in mind, we had NO drinks.

We came there for our daughter’s birthday and what a great night we had. Food was great and the service was top shelf. They made our girl feel so special and the grinch even made an appearance that the kids will never forget. Thank you to the wonderful staff for this experience.
