I had reservations here for 6, we ended up with an extra person so 7 in all. The young woman at the front sitting everyone was very rude and said they were very busy and could not seat us. The waitress showed us where we would sit for six. It was a booth and we could not even sit 6 of us! I was shocked and confused because I made the reservation a week earlier. We ended up leaving and went somewhere else. I will not make reservations at this location again. We will go somewhere else next time we are in Stratford! The waitress was very nice and said she was sorry but the girl at the front should not be in customer service! I would never treat anyone that way! I go to Montana's all the time but I will never step foot in the Stratford location again. We have a retreat in Stratford twice a year so they lost our business.

The food was wonderful and we were looked after by a staff member who was helpful, pleasant and extremely well organized in all aspects of service. We will go to Montanas again.

Food was good, our server was excellent. She identified choices for us that were great. Steak was excellent, baked potatoes and shrimp too. Must have been the smallest lobster tail on the planet. Gf had a good meal, overall the food was pretty good. Price is approaching the Keg. This is not the Keg. Value wisenif we didn't have a coupon.. Just can't justify $100 plus tip to eat at Montanas. For $70 it would have been awesome... and bare in mind, we had NO drinks.

We came there for our daughter’s birthday and what a great night we had. Food was great and the service was top shelf. They made our girl feel so special and the grinch even made an appearance that the kids will never forget. Thank you to the wonderful staff for this experience.

Our family went last evening and it will be our last to this location. We arrived at 8 pm (Saturday evening). Nachos were okay, other appetizer was not. Overcooked food w/fajitas, steak, shrimp and fish pretty much ruined the evening. Had to ask for cutlery and pretty much everything else. When complaining kitchen manager came out and was really only interested in defending his own position. We have been to many Montana's, but this was a horrible experience. Staff took $60 off our bill to compensate, but that won't bring us back.

We moved to town 8 months ago and haven't found a restaurant we wanted to go to for a second time. It's expensive to eat out these days so we want it to be worth it. FINALLY we've found our spot! The food was good, drinks were reasonably priced ( Caesars and beers) and the service was fantastic.
