We stumbled upon Whatever 75, passing through Stratford, and a glimpse at the takeout menu on the door lured us in.
Wow, the inside is fantastic! So fun, welcoming and very eclectic. The muralist did a great job, and the diner theme was a hit with us 50+ year olds.
The food was good, but didn't meet our expectations, purely based on the decor and excellent service we received. The chicken was a bit overcooked, and the brussel sprouts did not travel well (became pretty mushy).
Next time we are travelling through, we'll make time to stop for a boozy milkshake.

I'm sure the dine in experience is different but unfortunately guys, We got a bad review on our hands here.
Ordered the old man breakfast and it came with "all the meat" ... so what that means is comes with 1 peamale, 3 bacon, 2 sausage. Which is generous just wish you guys told me what I was getting when I ordered it online. OK so as you can see the bottom of the carton was very oily. So when I cook bacon what i do is make an effort to dry up the oils off the food. Papertowel or hanging works guys. The hashbrown was deep fried but honestly bland. Eggs were perfect.
Partner ordered chicken and waffles which looked appealing compared to mine however the portion size was smaller than expected. OK come on guys. We'll try again in the future but unfortunately not a good first impression. Couldn't finish the meal.
Next time we order we will update review based on experience.
Yup I certainly do have opinions I also have stomach aches now. It was really oily guys.

Don't bother with this place!
My niece treated my sister and I to a show in Stratford (wonderful!) & we stopped at Whatever75 for dinner before.
It was a dreary, tired looking room. The menu we were given is NOT the one posted online or reflected in the reviews we found (breakfast/brunch, apparently lots of options).
The 1st server who took our order was cheerful and friendly.
I asked for lemon for my water ("don't have any").
We asked about the menu we found online. Not available ("only for breakfast/brunch").
We asked about chicken fingers and fries/plum sauce - "only on the kid's menu"
For dinner - options were limited, basically fried chicken, wraps, burgers & pizza. Fries the accompaniment to just about everything. I don't eat wraps or pizza and the burgers as described were not appealing. I ordered the chicken & fries. And that is exactly what I got. Nothing extra, nothing appealing on the plate. Boring, and the chicken was not edible. Chicken thighs, no flavour, deep fried in breading to a really dark brown and hard. YUCK.
We did not have time to go elsewhere for a meal, so for $16.99
I ended up with 2 small pieces of inedible chicken and a plate of okay fries, which I shared with my sister who had a very disappointing caesar salad (basically a side salad) with no dressing.
I was disappointed by the 2nd server who gave me attitude when I complained about the chicken. AND she/they charged full price for my meal knowing full well it was basically inedible. (I would have declined the meal altogether but we did not have the time to find an alternative and there was nothing else on the menu that I felt I could eat.)
Just for comparison - I went to Costco a week later and ended up ordering their chicken fingers and fries... for $6.99 I had 4 pieces of chicken (which I did eat) and great fries. ... A much better meal and better value for money - and that is saying a lot!
Parking: Paid lot a short walk from restaurant.

My family was in Stratford to catch a show. Checking Google we found Whatever75 and thought it sounded like a good place to go. The staff were very friendly and I cannot fault them for the service, but the food? What a disappointment. As a vegetarian the menu was completely lacking. I had a choice of replacing some fillings in wraps with spicy cauliflower, which I don't like or (for a surcharge of $3) get a vegan patty on a burger, or a vegetable pizza. Yuck and boring. I ended up just ordering a Caesar salad (no bacon) and quite frankly it was one the worst I've ever had. Just romaine & croutons sprinkled with parmesan with no trace of dressing. My sister ordered the fried chicken and it was very overcooked. We didn't have time to wait for another item to be prepared so she had to pull the burnt parts off and eat the bit that was left. My daughter had a chicken wrap which she said was OK. The coleslaw that came with it was the one thing that I can say was very good.
Maybe we came on a bad day, who knows? But even on a bad day, I would not recommend this place to a vegetarian or vegan, best to go somewhere else.

Look, I've eaten an untold number of meals from Whatever75, so I'm a little biased.
The food is never less than great. The burgers are unpretentious but high quality. The chicken is fantastic without ever being greasy.
The pizza is totally underrated. Get it and thank me later.
The staff is always attentive and nice, and the owners are incredibly sweet.
Eat the food. ❤️

Service was phenomenal. Tried the burger and it was alright, but the fried chicken was the star of the dinner. Moist, crispy, and well seasoned.
I love how queer friendly and inclusive this place is!

After wandering away from downtown for coffee the day before, we decided to go find some place for breakfast that wasn’t in the heart of the city. This place didn’t disappoint. Very tasty and quite a selection. My skillet had quite a selection of mushrooms in it which was a pleasant surprise. My wife’s poached eggs were perfect she said.

We had the best time at Whatever 75! Our food was delicious, great twists on familiar food, like my Little Mikey, a riff on a Big Mac, but with quality ingredients like great beef, home made pickles and “exceptional sauce”. Our server, David, was attentive and helped make our evening fun. Also, their pancakes are the best I’ve ever had. Our favourite comfort food spot!

My wife and I were in Stratford the other day for the festival and after the show needed a bite. We wanted something casual, quality and with a good vibe and that's exactly what we found at Whatever 75. Amazing service, super friendly people and the food was sooo delicious. Wife had the chicken, we shared the deep fried pickles and I had the 'bacon ate her' burger. I'm not a take photos of my food kinda guy, but I should've on this one. It was beautiful and tasted even better. Thanks guys, see you next time we're in town!
