Revival House Reviews
A special afternoon spent at Revival House. A really wonderful gentlemen, made us feel so welcome and you could tell how proud he was of the restaurant and its history. He made our day and encouraged our full enjoyment of this unique venue. As a minister I loved seeing how the beautiful building was so creatively repurposed, honouring its original design. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask his name, but what a wonderful ambassador for this business. From reading other reviews,...read full review
My sister and my neice and I had a birthday lunch at Revival House today. Everything was just great from the service to the food...atmosphere and extra special attention. Rachel was a great waitress and Rob took Barb and Kristen on a tour of the upstairs. We will be back for sure!
This place is terrible! They were all warned numerous times to not serve a mentally Ill recovering alcoholic of three years. Not only did the bar tender serve him, he over served him, making his drinks so strong and giving them out for free that the man he over-served ended up being taken to the hospital after being found passed out on the road and transported to hospital by ambulance.
This wasn’t the end. Less than a week later they let him in and served him again....read full review

The Revival House in Stratford offers a unique dining experience in a beautifully restored church, complete with a concert venue and excellent acoustics. The atmosphere is charming and inviting, making it a great spot for cocktails and light fare. Customers have praised the friendly and professional service, noting that the staff makes guests feel very welcome. The restaurant features stained glass windows on the main floor and classy decor upstairs, creating a beautiful and elegant environment. The food has received praise, especially dishes like the pork ribeye, which are flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks and appetizers, such as the Cajun Brussels, are also highly recommended. Some reviews mentioned that the place was very quiet and that the atmosphere was second to none, perfect for a relaxed birthday dinner or a casual pint. Despite the higher prices and limited options for vegans and gluten-free diets, the overall experience is excellent, and many look forward to returning for another meal. The only drawback noted was that it can get quite cold, which slightly affected the enjoyment of the meal. With continued consistency and attention to comfort, Revival House has the potential to be a top dining destination in Stratford.
