I was there with my family we all liked or loved what we were ordered. One order was brought not exactly as requested and they quickly and pleasantly made it right. The place is quite big and it was almost packed. It took longer than expected for the food to be served but not long enough to make us start getting restless. All in all, good experience. Unique venue : a converted church. No music was playing, nice for a change! The chatter echoed making it a different feel than regular restaurants.
My group arrived early for our reservation and we were offered to be seated early. Throughout our evening, our server Christopher was extremely attentive and kind. As a lot of diners were attending the Stratford festival, Christopher made sure to check in with us about timing. Even though we were in no rush, he did not overlook us even for a second while dealing with his other tables. Christopher truly made the dining experience one to remember. I also want to highlight the servers who were walking around and topping up water glasses - they also were attentive. I recommend the cajun brussels to start, and the royale burger.
The atmosphere here is definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t hold up beyond that. Our table waited nearly two hours for our meals, which was frustrating, especially as other tables who arrived after us were served much faster just because they were seeing a show. The food looked good, but the menu didn’t offer many appealing options, and what we ordered lacked flavour and came in small portions. I’d consider visiting again for the ambiance alone, but only if the service and food see some major improvements.
One of the best luncheons we have had in a long time. Service and staff were wonderful. Food was delicious! Ambiance is so unique and so much fun!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Incredible food, staff and food. You will not leave hungry!
Atmosphere is great and something you dont see everyday. However, the food can be underwhelming for the price. The pasta and risotto is somewhat salty, the burger is nothing out of the ordinary.
The duck has some slices that were undercooked, and the serving is quite small for the price.
However, the service is excellent and the servers are courteous.
What a lovely way to celebrate a birthday. The food and service were amazing. Our server, Christopher, was over the top in his service and very knowledgeable about the menu and history of the restaurant/church. After learning he is in school for opera we jokingly asked him to sing happy birthday in opera. To our delight when dessert was served he sang a beautiful rendition of happy birthday. He made the night memorable. All the best in your future endeavours Christopher and may your singing continue to bring connection and joy to others. Highly recommend checking out Revival House.
Good place to visit while in Stratford. Very original decor and good vibe
What a wonderful place! Never been there before, food was excellent, but Amy, the bartender(?) was what made my whole night!!!!!!!!
Amy was just, the most welcoming, the most friendly and just a wonderful person.
(Aside from the ADD ;-)
Thank you for making it a great night Amy!

The quality of theatre in Stratford versus quality of dining at Revival House is incredibly mismatched. Cold food, disappointing food. Had to search for the chèvre in the beet salad (about half a teaspoon smeared on the plate - don’t trouble yourself Revival House) Disappointing wine list and when we ordered wine from the menu it was not available. Decor is old, dated and dusty. (And my view was of a big steel box in the belfry ?♀️)It was comical to watch staff wander around with plates of food trying to figure which table to give them too. I watched food get offered to 2 other tables before the wait staff tried our table annd it was our food. Overall very slow service. Not impressed and won’t go back.
Very disappointing from the days of The Church. Stratford Chef school is right there but Revival House carries none of what the chef school is known for.

The service is very slow and not very good. The food is underwhelming. We were there for lunch and a band was setting up when we got there but no indication when they would start the set(we left after 1pm)
I really wanted to like this place, but the service on a Saturday is awful! Yes, they were busy pre-theatre, but an hour and a half wait for mains is ridiculous. Best be prepared to CAMP waiting on your food.
UPDATE: we waited 2 hours for our mains that never came, after asking our own server three times for an update. I finally called over another server to tell her we had to leave otherwise we would miss our show reservations. When she brought me over to the till to process our bill I noticed our mains were fired an entire hour before I complained which could only mean our dinners went to another table and we were literally waiting for nothing. We left hungry, and miserable, and ended up just grabbing Taco Bell after our show. Ridiculous and an awful note to end our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY weekend on.
Do yourselves a favour and book a reservation somewhere else.
