This is a beautifully restored church that is now a restaurant and concert venue . Great acoustic. The staff were friendly and service was good. Food was a bit over priced for the quality and limited choices for vegans and gluten free .The band " the Human rights " was amazing!!!

Really cool atmosphere but service was extremely slow. We had to get up and ask for more drinks and we were told that they would try to send the server over but she was too busy- hire more staff or don’t seat tables you can’t accommodate. $46 for steak that was fairly tough Brussel sprouts weren’t cooked. Pretty disappointing, We would not return

Revival House in Stratford offers a truly unique dining experience set within the charming ambiance of a converted church. The atmosphere is nothing short of incredible, making it a delightful spot for evening cocktails and light fare. However, the food can be hit or miss. For instance, my pork ribeye was flawlessly executed, a perfect 10/10 in flavor and preparation. Yet, the side of Brussels sprouts missed the mark, arriving severely undercooked. Similarly, our table experienced inconsistency with the burgers—one turned out very dry, while the other was wonderfully juicy.Despite these culinary missteps, Revival House shows a lot of promise. I would definitely return for the appetizers and drinks. If the kitchen can fine-tune its consistency, Revival House has the potential to become the most popular dining destination in Stratford.

Atmosphere and good service don't mean a lot when the food is subpar. An undercooked hamburger - something that should neve be served medium rare unless requested. And the Chicken Carbonara tasted like Kraft Dinner with a few pieces of chicken thrown in.

The Revival House is worth visiting, to make it short. To expand, the ambiance was phenomenal and service was very quick and pleasant. The ambiance was carefully curated and very relevant to the Stratford related lore. Oh, and there was live music with a piano and violin! As for service, we were checked on enough times but not too many for it to be annoying and any request we had would be fulfilled right away. The food was good, I had the duck confit wings and garlic parm fries which were great but my partner had the lobster mac and cheese which she said had a sauce that could be improved. Also I had the Hurricane cocktail which was lovely and priced fairly. Overall, would recommend coming here to atleast see the beautiful setting and go for ice cream after.

I really wanted to love this place because of the atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food was surprisingly mid. I had heard such amazing things about the food in Stratford, and walked into this restaurant without reading reviews solely because my partner and I thought that a place so lovely must have the food to match. I don't regret spending time at RH, but I do regret ordering food here.We both ordered steak sandwiches with chips. The bread was quite nice, some sort of flatbread situation... the steak, however, was tough and flavourless. The aioli was largely absent from the sandwich, making it quite dry, although the aioli I did taste was good. The chips were nothing special, they weren't bad but were thrown on the plate as more of an afterthought. The menu did seem to have variety, but as other reviewers mention, whatever you order is going to be below your expectations. I really hope that the staff at RH reflect on their menu and work on putting something much nicer together. I think it is surprising that in a city like Stratford, something as simple as a steak sandwich was so lacking in flavour and technique. I wouldn't order food here in the future, there are much better options in the area.

I went there last summer. To be honest I can’t even remember what I had to eat, breakfast maybe? but I know I was disappointed with the meal but what I found more disappointing was my drink. I had ordered a cocktail and it came in a can! No thank you I want one made from scratch. If you don’t go there to eat at least go in the summer and see their garden it is spectacular. Staff were very friendly. I will go again always prepared to give places a second chance

We often bring guests to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant (great ambience) or on the patio (SO beautiful!) - everyone wants to go back when they come to town! The good is great - AND there are vegetarian options! We have seen a few concerts here as well - so much fun!Vegetarian options: Delicious!

I hate giving sub-5 star reviews because people work hard. The drumbeat of other reviews, though, is dead on: great atmosphere but food way below potential. If good food were hard to make, I'd understand. If pricey menus lacked an appreciative clientele, I'd hold back. This is Stratford. But 4.3? Customers are clearly yearning for more, and they are pleading that they can both afford and appreciate good food. How easy is it? By doing nothing more than creating a top tier steak and seafood menu, the Revival House would be booked in perpetuity. A raw and baked seafood-centered menu would be booked out. It's surreal, honestly, that Revival House hasn't yet lit on a menu to elevate the dining experience here from just-above-pub to just-short-of-nirvana.Go have dinner at The Bruce (to name but one). Have a good cry. Then get to work! The Revival House deserves it, you can do it, and the people will love you for it!Dietary restrictions: Keto optionsLow carb optionsCarnivore optionsPaleo options
