We called and left a voicemail as there were no posted hours. Sherri called back and we were able to be throwing axes an hour later! Sherri was great, we brought a 7 year old, 9 year old and 13 year old and she was patient, attentive and encouraging. The tutorial was good for all ages and we all had a great time! Beer in a plastic cup wasn’t ideal but also nothing to complain about really! We didn’t really take advantage of the food and drink so can’t comment, enough parking out back and all in all a fantastic time! Bathrooms clean, great for a date night, team building, party, whatever!!
Parking: Not a huge parking lot, during busier times it would be a challenge, but we found parking no problem.
Kid-friendliness: Sherri was incredible at learning the kids names, encouraging, helping and scoring for us all.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair friendly, one small lip onto a padded mat to collect axes.

I’ve booked here twice for staff events and both times everyone had a lot of fun! You can bring your own food and pay for drinks (great selection!) and axe throwing. A coach will show you how to throw and give you some practice before starting the games, and the games were super fun and competitive. Highly recommend this activity for a fun outing with friends, family or colleagues.

A very fun experience! The location is really spacious and is in great shape with a great beverage selection. Definitely inviting and also has a big area for food/seating if you have a party/work event. The axe coach we had was awesome.

Well, I can truly say this was my first attempt at throwing axes, however we had an awesome time with family and friends who participated in this event for a fun evening. Try it you won't be disappointed. 🙂👍⛏

We came to Stratford Axes with a group of about 30 for a birthday. We made a reservation in advance, of course. The atmosphere was great but it was extremely expensive.
