My review is of the restaurant.Our experience began with being offered steamed cloths to wash away the day, it felt like a spa treatment! We had someone in our party with a serious allergy and the care our server David took to ensure we could relax and not worry about the food was above and beyond.We felt like we were David's only priority (despite him having other tables). We loved the food but it was the service that moved our dinner into a dining experience.

Overall solid. The service was a little shaky at the desk (we were on holiday and probably wearing sneakers), but impeccable, humorous, and personable at the table. Will certainly return. If you haven’t stayed here yet your missing out on a beautiful experience trust me , the food the rooms are top notch the staff so warm and proffesional it’s so nice and warm it’s like being in a mansion yet warm and cozy I highly recommend you stay here for sure ! Our stay at the Bruce Hotel was magnificent. We truly felt like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The wait staff in the restaurant were kind, timely and personable. The food was 10/10 delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated, themed and clean. The front foyer with the fire was a wonderful place to have a drink and enjoy each other’s company. There was a game hall with a variety of different games to choose from as well as 24/7 cookie service to your room! The pool, hot tub amenities were top notch. An honourable mention goes to Tyler at the front desk who went above and beyond. Easily the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Thank you for making this weekend so enjoyable!

Impeccable, superlative stay. I stayed at the Bruce in August 2023 with my wife, my mother-in-law and our 2 year old. The staff members were excellent,. They made sure that we were taken care of. The room was spacious, spotless, warm and welcoming. A crib was provided for our toddler. When he had an accident (pee) on the mattress a new one mattress was immediately provided (arranged by Laurie). Throughout our stay, Rebecca, Laurie, Salman and Aashish made sure that we were taken care of, checked in with us regularly, and were always interested in how our day was going and what our boy was up to. Philip drove us back from the theatre and the owner, Jennifer, drove us to the train station (she was considerate and thoughtful, using a car seat for our son). Both were a pleasure to chat with, and we loved learning more about the Bruce's history from Jennifer. We now think the Bruce family will become a regular part of our Stratford experience.
