My husband and I just enjoyed a lovely meal at The Common. We both walked away extremely impressed and couldn’t stop talking about the experience we just received. The food was amazing, flavourful and comforting. The food that is served at the common feels like a love letter to your taste buds. The atmosphere provided an intimate and cozy vibe that we enjoyed. We will absolutely be back to explore more dishes and check out the patio seating they have in the summer. Also being Celiac the options were not minimal, in fact most of the menu was gluten free as it was whole foods, ingredients that you felt good consuming and enjoyed doing so.

I love finding gems like this in small towns. This restaurant was exquisite! Absolutely topnotch from the moment you enter the restaurant til the moment you leave. The ambiance is nice and warm. The staff are attentive and considerate. The food are top tier. The portions are just right: not too big, not too small. I love fusions of flavors when it's done right. I didn't expect to find something like this in a small town but it's becoming more common to find excellent quality food in smaller towns. We also got a nice greeting from the Chef at the end who came out to introduce himself. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in town.

We recently had our wedding reception at The Common and couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our guests raved about the food. The staff were incredibly friendly and organized. I would highly recommend having your next event at The Common. Cassandra and Chef Tim are amazing!

Can’t say enough good things about The Common from great evenings out with friends to a recent private Christmas party held there. The service is friendly and fast, the food and selections are incredible, the atmosphere is so great! Chef/Owner Tim always there to chat. Restaurant manager Cassandre is exceptional. Very highly recommend!

Our first time and not the last. Everything about our experience was incredible. From the warm, big smile welcome to the great service, excellent recommendations and delicious food.

We had gin thyme and gin basil sour cocktails. We were more excited about the appetizers so decided to share the squash galette, gyoza and the brussel sprouts. Excellent choice. Our next course was the steak on frites and jus, delicious. I would recommend offering the option of a crispy fry or less crispy, as it currently served.

Ate there last night and was very impressed. The front of staff and servers were fantastic. Warm, attentive, and friendly. The chef has a gift with creative flavours which match perfectly with the quality ingredients, without the food feeling ostentatious. From what I was told, the menu changes often which just goes to show the talent he has. The cocktails were incredibly tasty. What more can one ask for! In particular the inside & outside
vibe this place has. Such a great establishment. I highly recommend booking a table the next time you are here.

This is probably if not one of the best, the best restaurant in town. The food is flavourful and expands across many cultures. My dinner tonight was vegan & gluten free, neither of which I normally eat, but the dish blew me away.
You'll never be disappointed by the food and staff here!

Came here for the first time and was bowled with the quality. Their drinks are a particular highlight, offering unique combinations that recreate old favorites with new flavors. Their menu is varried and hearty. And although everything that passed my mouth was delicious, nothing compares to the streak frites and filet. When I took a bite of that dish, which thankfully I had ordered, as opposed to one of my dining companions, I thought I died and gone to heaven. It's that good. I hope The Common keeps this up and is around for years and years to come.

I was absolutely wowed by the quality, taste, and presentation of all the door at our table of 7.

The corn fritters and beef rib special was unctuous!

The Chef is excellent. The meal started with cocktail that was served as performance art. With smoke and thyme to go with the gin and grapefruit juice. The appetizers of vodka meatballs and coconut squash soup were excellent and a perfect size. The flavors of the main dish (shrimp scampi linguini) were infused through all of its ingredients. Had a new desert on the menu ginger rhubarb jelly. The layers of very different flavors combined for an amazing experience. The staff were great.
